I got the photobook action several years ago when it was a freebie. Too bad it's no longer available as such.

If you are considering saturday night as the 'end of the week' check in. I didn't get anything done.

Here I am this week!
Had the grands over of the weekend so it started out busy... got a lot of steps in on Sunday. LOL
Work for the rest of the week, which generally means a lot of sitting at the computer, but I'll try my best and let you know!

HAVE A GREAT WEEK!

Doing a bunch of running around this week, as it turns out. Worked Mon, Tues, Wed. Grands showed up Wed, Thu, Fri bc we have no school for state teachers conf. Took them up for lunch with my mom on Thu. THAT was a blast. It was so good to get her out of her apartment and the kids love seeing her. They keep me hoppin' too.

Pretty lazy SONday here. Getting ready for a busy work week. I'll basically be AT MY DESK ALL WEEK. I'll try to get out as much as possible. We shall see.

Well done Yvonne.
You must be a very fit person to achieve so much walking.

I try to stay fit Anne-Marie. Many years ago I gained weight every year and one day I said stop. Lost 15 kg and till today I'm still the same weight. But it isn't easy. Almost every day I cook a healthy meal and try to walk one hour a day.

But there are so many temptations....... sigh

Hi everyone! I see I'm not too late. I've wanted to join but didn't know what I wanted to be motivated about. Now I do! I just started a blog (well, I will publish my first post tomorrow) and need to stay motivated to publish a post once a week. So I guess this is my spot! :)

Week of October 24-31: Posted my first post on the blog!
Week of November 1-7: Posted my second post on the blog.
Week of November 8-14: Posted my third post on the blog.

Welcome Ane to our Spicy Motivators.
Is your blog about your scrapbooking or something else?

As soon as you post, let us know, I will take a look. I have a blog too, post all my CT scraps on it. Love looking at other blogs!
here is my blog!

Anne-Marie, my blog will be a kind of potpourri of stuff, but I will probably post some scrapbooking stuff. It's live now- you can find it here.

Yvonne, I will definitely check out your blog! :)

Ane, you have made a good start. It looks great. I do like the name of your cat. We had a white cat when I was a teenager and she had kittens which were both white.

Update my spot (#9) for this month. :)

Thankyou for sharing your update and looks like you are doing well.
I read some good advice on weight loss recently..... do not keep weighing yourself.... just keep using a tape measure and measure your waist and or hips.

Starting the new week here in MN! It's a sunny and BRISK fall LAST day of October. Gonna get out some while the sun is shining and wait for the kiddos to start showing up. Of course, that will continually interrupt my Vikings game tonight, but DANG!

Well, I obviously did my STEPS yesterday! LOL (and my Vikings lost... dangit)
Was very, pleasantly surprised that the parents (or the cold) kept the kiddos away from the door after the game started, so that was nice. Back to work today.
Have a great week!

I have updated the chart in the second post and have fixed the dates I had wrong. I also removed December as I feel it will be too busy a month for me to keep up with everyone's happenings.

Next year I will not do a chart but will start a new threat for us to continue to share our journeys to help encourage each other. I know we have the waffling thread for sharing but what I will start is like this one... just a place to be motivated in achieving goals.

No problem...I don't own a scale. For me, scales are not the answer. All over wellness is my goal. I am definitely at the age where "use it or lose it" applies. I have a routine of morning stretches that help tremendously in keeping me limber. It also reduces pain and stress. My treadmill workout and small weights exercises are after lunch (my biggest meal of the day). I can't say the workout gives me any added energy as it does with some people, but it keeps my arthritis from flaring up and helps me stay mobile and more flexible.

Everyone should do what is best for them and not let a "one size fits all" attitude be their guide.

You missed my post from the week of the 23rd. I've posted every week.

T Bear.... thankyou for sharing what you do and I do like the last statement about one size.

Carla.... I have updated the chart on my computer. Sorry I missed your post.

Next year I will not be doing the chart as life away from the computer has become a little crazy for me and I cannot see much change in the coming months. I will start a new thread for us to have a place to share our goals and encourage each other.

Don't blame you for not doing the chart. Personally, I'd remove it right now and be done. Just let us support each other with comments and encouragement. I don't think anyone will miss it!

Thankyou Carla and Ane,
I have removed the chart and left a little message.

So please keep sharing how you are all doing. I plan on keeping my initial post updated for my own record.
