Today I did half hour of seated exercises following a Youtube video and it was great. In case anyone is interested you can find it HERE

YES! Well done Anne-Marie! You don't need that extra stress in your life. We're all adults and we're good with supporting each other right here in the thread.

Thanks for starting this group and keeping us HOPPIN'!

Btw... I was hoppin' today.
I conducted PCA training at one of the elementary schools this morning, then ran to grab some "WTG" candy from the grocery store next door and then DELIVERED the "WTG" candy to my awesome providers who got all their billing done in Sept and Oct!

I posted another blog post today. A big THANKS to all who have visited and/or commented! This one was a little harder, and I procrastinated, which didn't help. I have to do some research for my third post, so I'd better get to that and/or scrapping before my crazy weekend!

You need to share the link every time you post Ane... So I don't have to go back and search for it. hehehe...
Of course, "saving" it would be another option. DUH!

Didn't do much "motivating" yesterday. It was gorgeous outside, but I wasn't feeling it. Sorta depressed, not sure why. I did make some cards and watched some movies. Hopefully I'll get out of my slump today.

I hope tomorrow finds you feeling more motivated! Hugs to you!

It's beautiful here in Northern Illinois, so hubby and I took a nice long bike ride this afternoon - also put away outdoor furniture, etc as we gear up for winter. Pretty active day for me! :)

Thanks Jill! That's so sweet. Yesterday was better, even though my Vikings lost HORRIBLY!!! (yes, I still watch only them, although lately I don't even know why I watch them... they're letting me down so badly!)

Had a better day, in general, though. Got some room purging done.

Jill, good on you to do bike riding. That is something I was never able to do - terrible balance. I gather you must get a lot of snow to be putting away the outdoor furniture?

I have those sort of days also when I do not feel motivated to do much at all. I believe it is good to have those days to just do nothing much. Sometimes our lives get too busy.

Made another blog post today. Now to find my original post so I can update it, LOL! :)

Ane you have shared some great information. I hope it reaches out to those who need help. Also I think you sharing all that will also in return help you.

Busy couple days here. Have had the grands since Wed cuz mom is in FL playing softball in the Sober-World Tournament! She just called and they've made it to the FINALS!!! So, I've definitely gotten my steps in this week! lol

Made the blog post today! I thought I was sunk when my computer went down, but Wordpress has this great iPad app and my work had been saved. :)

Ane, I am glad you did not lose what you had added to your blog. I just read your review on the book about Motherhood and left you a comment. Thankyou for letting us know when you update your blog.

Carla, good to read you are keeping active with looking after your children. I hope your daughter's team wins their softball finals.

Thank goodness Ane! I would have been devastated! I hate that, when I write something all out and "whatever" happens to make it disappear. It's happened to me many times. I'll have to go read up on your adventures.

Anne-Marie, they came in 5th. Not terrible for Worlds, but not as good as they did in Vegas in March. Of course, the weather in FL made up for it. While it was snowing in MN, they were on the beach or playing softball in shirtsleeves!!!

Back to normal living for me and hubby this week until the chaos of Thanksgiving hits. We're doing our festivities on Wednesday so Lacy, Nick and Kolten can go be with his family on Thanksgiving Day.

Carla, at least they made the finals and sound like they enjoyed the weather also.

I have been trying different Youtube videos for my exercising. Some are good but I found one the other day I did not save as it was way too strenuous for me. I have osteoporosis and my very lower back bone is collapsing down so I do have to be careful with what I do.

Anne-Marie, have you ever done Body Groove? It's a really easy step-tap dance move thing to some really fun music. Not "exercise" exercise, just getting up and getting moving. She has a how series for sale, but there are loads of freebies on YT.

Thank you Carla, your suggestion is much appreciated.

I have seen advertisements for Body Groove pop up on Facebook and wondered if it would suit me but I have to watch what I do with my hips. I have bookmarked a couple to try and when looking I found another great Seniors one Walk and Groove for Seniors by another instructor.

To help motivate me I was going to wait until next year but I decided I will start doing this now..... whenever I do some good exercises I will put a pretty little sticker on the calendar for that day. Hopefully by the end of the month the calendar will be full of pretty stickers.

Yay to you for starting now instead of waiting. Speaking for myself, if I put it off, it never gets started.

And here's to a month full of pretty stickers for you!!!!

Carla, as I used to enjoy dancing in my younger days I did have some fun yesterday afternoon dancing around our home to the Body Groove ( 2 short ones on Youtube). Today I am feeling fine... no aching hips so I will use those videos again alternatively to the other exercises I do.

I was a bit absent lately but I got track of every day. Posted till today here
I have a question: What is body groove pop up?

I am not sure what you mean by "body groove pop up"?
Body Groove is a form of free movement to music that is a slight form of exercising the body. You can see a Youtube video HERE

Thanks for the video Anne Marie, I do body groove almost every day, just at home, music on the radio, LOL. When I hear nice music I have to move.

Oh yes, Yvonne. Pop-ups are the ads for Body Groove. That's how I found them too. I have music on all day, while I work, but it's smooth jazz and nothing I really get up and moove/groove to so that doesn't help much. lol
