So what's everyone reading??

I always have about 3 or 4 books that are in my line to read. A new book arrived this weekend, and I am really thinking about putting down the one I am currently reading to start in!!

It's called "Fridge Love" by Kristen Hong. It's about organizing the refrigerator for sanity sake, lol. It talks about meal prep strategies with recipes that follow the nutratarian diet. It gives tips and guidelines that includes the best storage containers when preparing meals for the week - and how long the fruit and veggies last in containers, etc.

I'm excited at the thought that I may be a bit more organized - stop wasting food and actually get a grip on meals for my husband and myself along with his parents, too!

I'm reading Get Your Spark Back by Rachel Marie Martin. It's nonfiction and is about how to get your zest for life back. So far it is really good! I'm about halfway through.

I am an avid reader. So pleased to see this thread come to life again. I read many different genres too. So I will be reading a few of these. I just finished 'A Man Called Ove' by Fredrick Backman, and am now reading 'The List Of Suspicious things' by Jennie Godfrey :)

I can see it's been a while since anyone posted here, but I thought I'd jump in anyway! I am reading The Book of Lost Names by Kristen Harmel. The genre is historical fiction. It's set in France during the Nazi occupation and is about someone who creates forged identity papers for people. It's pretty good so far!
Going on my list. Thank you

I just finished Get Your Spark Back last night, and now I'm reading The Menopause Brain by Lisa Mosconi, PhD. It's another nonfiction book because I really need to know what's going on in my head/body right now. It feels like I'm all shades of messed up.

I found Get your spark back, and I will start to read it on this weekend. I searched the "care" reaction button, but it's just the sad. Sending 🤗
and loads of love dear @AJsRandom Ane ❤️

I still haven't finished The Menopause Brain. School intervened and I had to read other things. For book club this month, we are reading 2 books: The Secret, Book, and Scone Society and Pieces of Blue. I finished the first--it's a cozy, fluffy mystery set in a North Carolina town. But the second has me more intrigued because I can't tell what's going to happen. It's about a woman who uses the last of her savings after her husband's death to buy a motel in Hawaii and moves there with her three kids to run it. It's pretty good so far. :)

I've read 10 books since March. I'm currently reading, Heir of Fire.

I've got the Crescent City book #2 ready to read too. Book #1 was fantastic.

I just read Sister of Starlit Seas by Terry Brooks (#3 in the Viridian Deep Series) and am currently reading a post apocalyptic story called It Falls Apart by Barry Napier and Mike Kraus. Next on my agenda is to re-read the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I loved them when I was young but decided to read them again after watching it on Netflix.

Just seeing this and wondering how it all worked out? Was the book actually helpful long term? I really need help with this.

Just finished "Unreasonable Hospitality" by Will Guidara. If you've ever seen the tv show called The Bear, this was the book that inspired it. Very well written about life lessons learned through the restaurant / hospitality industry.

I continue reading Normal people by Sally Rooney, I started reading it in March, but I've been so busy that I've had to reread what I've already read. I hope to finish the book this month

I also think about what else I want to read while I finish the book. Although sometimes I think of 3-4 options at once and then a difficult choice begins:)

I am currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo. For so many years I have been going to read this novel, and now I am reading avidly. I'm a little sorry that I haven't read it before. Although, on the other hand, I am now experiencing such emotions that I do not regret that they were somewhat "postponed".
Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorites ever ever ever!!! I listen to it often because it's so amazing!!
