So what's everyone reading??

I'm currently reading All the Light We Cannot See. I've been reading it for over a month because school keeps getting in the way of reading (I'm doing a Master's program).

I've added a many of these suggestions to my TBR list (as if I needed more on that long list!!) I haven't been reading as much this year but a few of my favorites so far include The Measure by Nikki Erlick, Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson, and The Briar Club by Kate Quinn.

I finished reading Normal People over the weekend, and I didn't like the ending, so I binge-watched the series. It's only 12 chapters of about 30 minutes each. I really liked that Marianne's dialogues in the series were almost a faithful copy of those in the novel, with a few changes in the situations. However, Marianne and Loraine were the characters who were closest to the book. Well, I liked the ending of the series less than the one in the book. Without spoilers, I would have liked a more concise and much more detailed ending. Honestly, the entire novel was very well developed, and I was surprised that it had such an abrupt ending, as if the writer had gotten tired of writing and giving details, or lacking of paper or energy, or was doing it in a rush, a pity because it was a pretty good book, except the ending.

I am an avid reader. So jumping in here. I just finished Mrs England by Stacey Halls which was good. Very 'English' lol. Then I am about to start reading Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton. Recommended by a friend. So I will let you know how that goes. I am adding everyone's recommendations to my 'to read' list.

I'm a avid reader too, adding Mrs England by Stacey Halls, I'm gonna start to read it on next week, thank you so much for the recommendation

I’m trying to do some fun reading and am currently going through CS Forester’s Hornblower series on a fictional Napoleonic wartime British captain (chronological order starts with him as a low level midshipman). I’m really enjoying it so far!

I remember watching a few episodes of a TV series "Captain Hornblower" and enjoyed the story. You can read about the series HERE
