Well, Shana, you can see the cards. They would appeal more to the older generation than the younger. I am quite pleased with them though. I will create a version of them I can sell for more money. I don't get anything, it just raises money for charity. We got quite a bit of money the other day. I sold all 20 cards for 50c each. Plus, I read a poem I had written that we turned into a card. We sell those for $1. Every time I read it out loud, we get good sales, so I do it every few months.
What shows do you like? I watch all of them that have whole episodes. I tend to not watch the ones that are a continuing story, like Broadchurch. I love Vera, Midsomer Murders, Inspector Lewis, Death in Paradise, Father Brown, Sister Boniface, Jonathan Creek, Silent Witness, Shakespeare and Hathaway, Murder in Provence, Rosemary and Thyme, Blue Murder, Signora Volpe, Harry Wild, Foyle's War, Madame Blanc, George Gently, Wire in the Blood to name a few.
I am a Dr. Who fan from childhood. I once got spanked for kicking up a fuss that we weren't going to get home in time to see Dr. Who. I had a fit in the middle of Woolworths. I watch the old episodes from time to time and have a bit of a laugh, they are so camp!
I really only enjoy the English shows, although I have allowed a few American ones to slink in. They have to be quirky. I loved Lie to Me, Numb3rs, Monk, Castle, Unforgetable, Perception and the like.
It sounds as though I watch tons of television, but I usually have it on when I am working on something else. I also listen to a lot of audio books. Audio books MUST have an English Reader. I can't bear listening to an American reader, they just sound so UnEnglish!! haha.
