Hello Ladies!
Michi- Great news about your eyes, glad all is going well and healing.

Lilly Ann- your scrappin away girl way to go. i will be getting my layouts in this month also... Always love the collabs the designers come out with each month.

The weather is much colder here this week, so not going out to much... haven't seen my kids in awhile, the youngest son has been putting in a lot of hours working, and the oldest son has been sick and the rest of his family are taking turns getting it too, so staying home. Hope by Christmas all of them are better. My daughter is going to try and come up soon for a visit. As long as the weather isn't to bad. So looking forward to seeing her, it's been a few months since we have gotten time together. Hope we have a mild winter.... Well going to try and get my layouts done for the challenges... You all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR! :kisses

Hey everyone! Glad to hear that everyone is getting things done. Are y'all ready for Christmas? :)

I had a great weekend! We went to a nice concert Friday night, and Saturday was our anniversary, so besides going to a choir rehearsal, we stayed in and got pizza while watching our bowl game, which our team won, woohoo! Yesterday we had church and our choir concert, which came out nicely, not perfect, but nice.

Eren comes home tomorrow night! We're going out to dinner then picking them up from the airport. They get almost a month off, which is nuts, but we're glad to have them here. It will be so great having them home, even if we have to share them with their bf.

I hope everyone has an awesome week! Take care! :)

Hi folks,

I have been keeping up with everything that is going on, just having trouble making the time to post. I have been busy crafting Christmas presents and keeping up with a health challenge my friend and I are doing. Plus getting ready for Christmas.

I have most of my presents wrapped, just some to be crafted and will wrap those also as soon as they are done.

My daughter asked for a custom planner for Christmas. It basically meant 24 scrapped pages for the monthly calendars (half on each page) and 53+ weekly planner pages (because some months end mid week, some weeks have two pages). It has turned out quite nice. I am waiting for the dividers and then I can wrap it. I have added some note pages and goal pages and what have you. It does look lovely.

I also have a bunch of shirts, etc. that I am heat pressing.

Plus I have three stockings that need decorating. They should go pretty quickly. I have kept the designs simple.

I am ready to be done though! I love being creative, but it is exhausting also.

My friend and I are doing this health challenge. I have been doing little tiny motivators for it and scrapping them. It has been fun. I have done almost 80. Fun!

Good morning, all!

We are expecting a huge storm to come in tonight. Most businesses have already announced closings for the rest of the week. Hubby's work Christmas party was supposed to be tomorrow night, but has been cancelled due to weather. I'm looking forward to a couple of days home where we can be warm. Hubby plans to catch up on some paperwork and some shows. I'm still working my way through my 2022 photos and making sure I make layouts of those events important to me. I also got a small felting kit that I'm going to try to make. We will see how that goes.

This morning, the young lady I took senior photos of on Sunday is coming over to see what we took. I'm going to have her pick her favorite photos and then I will edit those for her. She's such a cutie, so I'm sure you'll be seeing some of her photos in my layouts! :)

Hope you have a great and cozy day today!

Happy Christmas Eve to all! We're off to our daughter Lacy's house to celebrate today and then be totally lazy tomorrow.
Hope it's happy for all of you!

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to all. It will be a different Christmas here as my husband just passed away this morning. I have a great family and a support system that will help and my kids said it will be one of the best Christmas's. If I am missing a few days just know that I still will continue to scrap and take notes of what happens. I know the Savior is there for us and I will see my dear husband again. Again I hope you all have the Merriest Christmas.

Oh Katherine, I'm so sorry to hear this! Massive (((HUGS))) to you and yours. I'm glad he's not suffering anymore, but sad for you and your family. Take care of yourself! <3

Katherine, I am so very sorry. Sending hugs and love and prayers for comfort and peace. As Ane said, I'm glad he's not suffering anymore, but I'm so sad for you and your family, especially to have it happen right now.

So sorry to hear the saddest of news today. Glad he is in a better place, pain free. Peace and strength to you and your family.

Katherine, I'm so very sorry to hear of your husband's passing. You've had a long, difficult time with his illness; your faith will be a comfort now. It's good to know that you have a strong and willing support system; you can hold each other together.

Seems like the weather is the Big Topic right now. Stranded travelers, multi-vehicle pile-ups, ice and snow in places that don't usually have ice and snow... it's been pretty awful here too, but we don't have to leave our house when it's bad so we're lucky. I never did make it to my parents' and they've told me not to take any risks. I'm thinking they might get their Christmas gifts and goodies by Groundhog Day. We had a TON of snow fall followed by freezing rain and then just rain. My son-in-law is an RCMP constable who had to be out on the roads in the worst of it, but I feel even more for the first responders who attended the bus roll-over 50ish miles from here on Christmas Eve. 4 dead, 52 taken to hospital - every health care worker's worst nightmare.

I've finally started watching Schitt's Creek. How did I wait this long?!!

Katherine. I am so saddened to just now read of your husband’s passing. I have followed his journey through your wonderful journalling that you always include on your pages. Your dedication to recording your lives is remarkable. As you grieve his loss please do not forget to take care of yourself. Hugs.

Sherri, did you see all of the thousands of cancelled flights this week due to the storms? So glad hubby and I planned a nice, quiet week at home to work on house projects (mainly cleaning out boxes and boxes and files). I'm meeting a friend for lunch... this is the first time in four days that I've left the house further than the mail box. Highs today should be in the 40s (F), so at least we're now warming up. Should be in the 60s later this week when we go see my extended family to finally have our Christmas celebration.

Jan, Schitt's Creek is on my list of shows to watch... I take it that you'd recommend this series?

Sherri, the storms are often coming from Alberta. We are fairing well but would appreciate if you could extinguish them before they come our way, we surrender.

:36_11_20:

I do feel for the people who's plans were halted and having to deal with the disastrous airports. We are laying low this year.

What a difficult time of year for you to look your dear husband. I know he has been ill for quite some time and you have managed so wonderfully taking care of him. I am glad you have such a lovely family to support you through these hard times, and your faith is so important as such a time as this. I wish we could enfold you in a big waffle hug from all of us here.

Katherine, you're an amazing woman. Your love for Fred is what all of us should strive for. So sorry that he passed. Words cannot comfort...but please know you have a multitude of scrappers here that share your sorrow and will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Hugs to you and your family.

A very chilly Christmas week here in Florida complete with iguanas falling from trees. Our coldest weather since 1989. Our Christmas day was lovely with family.
Bill and I traveled to the other side of the state to visit with my cousin for a few days.

Back home now and tidying up a few ends- ready to start a new year!
