Choo choo!!!!!

I was just thinking as I was looking at my gallery that there are layouts of mine that I'm really proud of, or feel strongly about, or just plain think they needed some lovin'...I'm sure I'm not the only one who looks forward to comments on my layouts and wonder why some don't get noticed and others do.

What if we did a Love Train - post a layout of your own that you want people to see. The gallery goes SO FAST that I know personally I miss a lot of really great layouts. I'm still back in June trying to get through everything.

If you want to play, please post a linked picture of your layout (or the link and the image like me - I can't seem to figure out how to do a linked image) and why you love it so much, and if you join in, at LEAST give lovin' to the layout that's posted before yours. You can love for ALL of them, but at least do the layout before you.

Do your best to mention one thing about the layout you appreciate. It really helps us grow as scrappers when we hear what we are nailing it with!! :)

For instance, don't just say "Pretty!" "Nice Layout!" or "LOVE IT!!" , say "I really like the way you used circles as a theme" or "Your drop shadows are amazing!"

Sing it with me:
"People all over the world, Join hands
Start a love train, love train
People all over the world, Join hands
Start a love train, love train"

Let's have some fun and share the love! You can enter once a day in the thread if you would like to continue to play. As always, the MORE you comment and spread the love, the more active our thread and our gallery here will be! Let's not just rely on the Sugar Cookies to comment on all of our layouts.

I'll start.

Here is mine. This layout was 4 years in the making. My Dad died in 2011 and I have yet to scrap anything about him - it has been too hard. Last night I decided I was going to do it. I cried through the journaling, but I think it's a beautiful tribute to my Dad and his love, and I need to share it! I am super proud of the drop shadow on the leaves. I have been working hard all summer long on my drop shadow technique.

(LOVE THIS IDEA!! I'm just checking in quick before bed, I'll have to come back tomorrow!!)

Love this idea!!! And I will join.....
I just love love this layout because of the photos! This are so pretty photos of my little one, that show his personality!

This is a great idea! I've seen this done at other sites, and I have had fun participating! :)

Thanks for starting this, Susan!

love this idea and I am definitely joining in! I'll come back to this thread a bit later today :)

This is a GREAT idea!!
Here's my layout. I just love the way it came out... Everything about it, from the photos, to the use of flowers & nontraditional colors for a boys layout to the paint splatters in the background... I think you catch my drift ;)
{P.S. Since you said you didn't know how to link an image, you just insert your photo, then highlight it, click the link button above and then paste the URL where the photo it. Super easy once someone teaches you! :) Hope that helps!!}

ok, I am back with my layout :). I just love this one.. these are the most precious pics of my son taken a few minutes after his birth back in 2008 and I also love the colors of this layout.

YES!!! Thank you!! The piece I was missing was the "highlight the picture". I was doing it backwards - put the URL in and then paste the picture. Never worked.

This is one of the few attempts at a more art journal-y type page I've done, and one that I actually LIKE. lol. I don't do art journal much because my OCD won't let me, and usually when I try it I don't think it looks that good. but I like this one

Love this!
i will be back and share in the morning, as on iPad and computer is off.

Here's my layout that I want to share today. Now you have seen my Dad in his older days, here he is young and skinny on his honeymoon!! I was playing with blending, artsy, and layers!

Ooohhhhh!!!! I've just gotten started here at GS and this looks like a great way to get to know some people - especially since I love to give and get love. :kisses I'll go comment on the LO's so far and then pop back in later with one of my own. I'm just now getting my older ones uploaded here.

Yay - welcome!! I am new too - but a chatty little thing. I joined just about a month ago and have been pulled into this place hook, line, and sinker!!

I look forward to seeing your layouts!

I too can't stop myself from coming back to this tread to see the new layouts! I LOVE seeing new comments in my gallery, it's almost like being a kid on Christmas morning again! ;)

I was so hoping we could join more. Lol
This one is just a new one that I just did for a challenge the other day. I love the photo I took, being silly after I picked some day Lilllies out in the yard. :)

Anyone else want to play? I'm in CA and can't scrap, so I'll be back on Monday to get this train going again!

Love train, babies!!!!! Where are you? I can't be the only one who wants some love!!!

Here's one of my latest - an all about me in a style I'm not used to doing, but I think I did a good job!

I'm back. Got busy with life, why doesn't life understand I need my scrapping?! Lol
I'm adding this one because I just like it, and I love the angle of the photo my oldest sent of my grandbaby.

Well Kiana, it looks like we are the only ones playing! I can't believe people don't want to showcase their favorites and get some love!

I'm playing more...just not on computer...
DH had surgery, between him and watching grandson....I will catch up.
on iPad at present.

I just found this thread. Thanks for starting it, Susan :)
This is one of my latest favorites. I've only scrapped a handful of photos from my daughter's wedding in January. I love how this came out.
