Choo choo!!!!!
I was just thinking as I was looking at my gallery that there are layouts of mine that I'm really proud of, or feel strongly about, or just plain think they needed some lovin'...I'm sure I'm not the only one who looks forward to comments on my layouts and wonder why some don't get noticed and others do.
What if we did a Love Train - post a layout of your own that you want people to see. The gallery goes SO FAST that I know personally I miss a lot of really great layouts. I'm still back in June trying to get through everything.
If you want to play, please post a linked picture of your layout (or the link and the image like me - I can't seem to figure out how to do a linked image) and why you love it so much, and if you join in, at LEAST give lovin' to the layout that's posted before yours. You can love for ALL of them, but at least do the layout before you.
Do your best to mention one thing about the layout you appreciate. It really helps us grow as scrappers when we hear what we are nailing it with!!
For instance, don't just say "Pretty!" "Nice Layout!" or "LOVE IT!!" , say "I really like the way you used circles as a theme" or "Your drop shadows are amazing!"
Sing it with me:
"People all over the world, Join hands
Start a love train, love train
People all over the world, Join hands
Start a love train, love train"
Let's have some fun and share the love! You can enter once a day in the thread if you would like to continue to play. As always, the MORE you comment and spread the love, the more active our thread and our gallery here will be! Let's not just rely on the Sugar Cookies to comment on all of our layouts.
I'll start.
Here is mine. This layout was 4 years in the making. My Dad died in 2011 and I have yet to scrap anything about him - it has been too hard. Last night I decided I was going to do it. I cried through the journaling, but I think it's a beautiful tribute to my Dad and his love, and I need to share it! I am super proud of the drop shadow on the leaves. I have been working hard all summer long on my drop shadow technique.
