Congrats to those of you who have completed your challenge goals!!!!

I just returned home from a conference (I was in charge of the logistics, so there was a lot of running around behind the scenes). It went well, and now I have a quiet weekend planned with hubby. Since my conference was in the same city where a lot of my family lives, I was able to have a pre-Easter egg hunt with the littles... and that was hysterical. So expect to see photos of that in the gallery soon.

Hubby and I are just going to take it easy this weekend. We may catch a movie or go for a walk to see what tulips have survived the recent spring storms.

We have Eren home for an extended weekend (Thurs-Mon). Sunday they are bringing a friend over for dinner, and I think we're celebrating their birthday then too. Hopefully they will let me take pictures! My oldest & his wife invited us to their home for Easter, but we are committed to singing in church on Easter.

We may go to the botanical garden on Saturday; I don't know yet. It has been a week and I haven't slept well. But we plan to do our usual shopping and anime watching with Eren. Speaking of Eren, I should probably go wake them up. It's 12:30 pm and they're still in bed. I guess their night was later than I thought it was.

I have finally sorted out Easter. Daughter Karen is not coming - she is working a double shift at her restaurant. It is the last day, then the restaurant is closing for good, sadly. It is such a lovely little place and the food is amazing, but they are just not making ends meet. They closed once before, but there was an inflow of cash to give them a second chance. They got another year, but couldn't make it happen.

Son Steven and my Daughter-in-law Vanessa are bringing my grandchildren, Bruce and Scarlett. That should be lovely. Our friend, Lois, may come. It will be a lovely day.

Happy Saturday to all. I am finally caught up reading in this thread.
Last weekend was truly a busy one of multi-tasking and live streaming. The Tampa Warriors Baseball Boys of Summer- ended up 2nd place in the Space Coast Tournament in Melbourne losing the championship game to a team from Maryland...who I was told were not AA but a Majors team. That's ok, a learning experience for the lads. Pages are getting created but [as I've learned] some of the templates I am using are not live until next week.

Loved watching the dance competition. My granddaughters "Think Pink" [from the Barbie movie] really improved this competition and placed Platinum, 1st in their category [8 and under large group jazz] and a 4th overall in 8 and under large groups.
The faux fur treasures were a hit with everyone. I just now finished scrapping it.

I'm at 17 challenges completed. Not sure if I have it in me to go further. I will check them out again.

Happy Easter to all! I need to go to the grocery.
m

Michi, you knocked it out of the park with this one! Fantastic.

I made it to 31 and 100 comments. I am pretty pleased with myself haha.

Happy Easter everyone. It's just hubs and I this year. Jen is away in Vancouver for a week. I'll cook a small beef roast, potatoes and carrots, simple and easy. I bought a small carrot cake for us for a treat.

I've been busy organizing photos and digital folders. I am finally going thru all the EHDs and moving folders around, getting them all sorted properly. The next big step will be to start fresh with lightroom, reloading all the photos. Also, I'll be doing a new backup on backblaze of all 8 EHDs of photos and digi supplies, I'm sure that'll take a few weeks to backup completely. I've been wanting to organize photos for a long time, it feels good to finally be doing it.

I'm still sick with chest congestion and a bit tired but doing ok and will go back to the doctor next week, maybe I'll need a different inhaler possibly, as this doesn't seem to be clearing up.

I've been binging Ozark as I've been doing the computer cleanup. What a fantastic show it is, great acting and story but so gruesome at times. I've got one more season to binge.

Happy Easter Everyone!
We're heading over to Lacy's later. Unfortunately Anne's still not speaking to her so they will not be attending. smh... Actually, I think there might be a slight glimmer of hope, but it's still a long way off. I need to tell Lacy to back off. She's part of the problem. Patience is a virtue, but she has very little. After our late March snowstorm last week, that snow is almost gone, so today should be a pleasant day. Ah yes, the joys of living in MN.
But Easter is a season of rebirth... so I am remaining hopeful!
HAPPY EASTER! He is Risen!

Thank you Lynnie. I do think she was happy and her friends too with the little keychains. But oh what a mess it made [until the sewing was completed}.

I'm still working through your daughters dance pages. LOVE the choreography on the duet. She is quite the dancer and turner. Loved their turn combinations.

Happy Easter everyone.
m

They were so in sync on this duet, too. It was extraordinary, watching them dance live. I have quite a few dances with her and her partner that were pretty amazing. A few when she was little that take my breath away.

I started as a Creative Memories consultant too. Unfortunately all my profits and them some went to buying supplies.
Would you believe my first digital layout was for a speed scrap and I made it in the allotted time of 2 hours. And would you also believe that I used (oh gosh I forgot the name used for the type of kit) where the size is smaller than standard. When I printed it, it looked fine despite how I was told it would print.
After that speed scrap, I joined the site that hosted it and the rest is history.
Wish I can find time to scrap these days but I've both lost the mojo and the time.

Stay well and be safe until the next time.

Happy Friday, all! It's been a whirlwind of a week, and I'm looking forward to some downtime this weekend. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

It's been a whirlwind week here too. We had 2 friends of Eren's over for Easter then later in the week had some more of their friends over for their birthday! Fun was had by all. :) I'm looking forward to slowing down a bit this weekend, with some early shopping and church meetings.

Happy Friday. I have the flu. Not fun. But not exactly what I expected "flu" to be like. Guess it is a good thing I had my shot. I went to the doctors thinking it was a sinus infection.

Lily Ane- I started using Creative Memories right after they first came out. Never was a consultant, but probably had as much product as some. LOL. Prior to CM, I scrapped with glue, tape, crayons, and manila folders.

I am back, what a fun trip to Disneyworld! We had a really nice condo and my son was able to drive us to the parks on his way to work or pick us up depending on the day (glad that I did not not to drive). I had so much fun catching up with my grandson and the thrill rides...WOW! There was snow at home when I left and now I must have brought some warmth back as it is finally beginning to look like spring.

I caught up with everyone's posts and going to organize my photos today, restocked the fridge and catch up on some bills. Tomorrow I have a concert and some appointments this week.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Last week must have been the week for whirlwind weeks. I had one too. Next week we have mandatory OT at work and I hate when it's mandatory. It limits creative time.

I am heading out of town for a trip with my friend of 65 years - yes, we have been friends for 65 years! Heavens, I didn't realize I was even 65 years old!

We are going to Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Yosemite, Monterey, San Simeon, Ventura and Solvang. We are going to have a great time. I'll be scrapping after I get back.

Cheers!

have fun!!! Can’t wait to see your photos!!!

Wow Lynnie...such a long friendship, that is so special! Enjoy the trip, sounds like fun.

Spring birding has started here so my birding photo walks are becoming more interesting. I start Mahjong lessons soon. I'm organizing photos on EHD's and once that is done, I'll be starting a new backblaze backup and will reload photos into lightroom. It's a lot of work but it'll be great once it's all done.

Life has been busy but fun.

Wow, Lynnie, you are going some of my favorite places! I used to live about half an hour from Solvang. Have lots of fun!

How's everyone doing on hump day? It's cloudy and rainy here- too bad we don't have our garden planted yet! I've got a lovely mammogram coming up on Friday, and that's all I'll do this week besides the eclipse, which was amazing. :)

Good morning, all! I LOVE Solvang! You've heard of a pub crawl? Well there, Randy and I did a bakery crawl! SOOOO yummy! We also had fun trying on wooden shoes and just walking around the adorable community!

The weather here has been lovely, but the pollen count is through the roof. I went for a long walk after work yesterday, and had to come home and scrub my face as my eyes were burning from everything in the air. It didn't help that so many of the local farmers are burning their fields to prep them for planting. I never knew that was a thing until I moved to Kansas. It's not unusual this time of year to be driving and seeing acres and acres of land in flames. Everything is black now, but it will all be bright green in a week or so.

@Shana that sounds amazing. I’m all about a bakery crawl and maybe follow that with some wine tasting? lol. Take lots of photos!!!

ooooo you weren’t that far from me. I love about an hour from Disney World. Can’t wait to see your photos.

Shana, that bakery crawl sounds awesome but probably not good for my cholesterol levels since I ate everything in sight in Europe...you know, had to try it all! LOL.

I have recently joined a Cricut summit and enjoyed the fun new things they presented, haven't tried making anything yet but I was able to snag a few freebies. Later this month they are having another one, one for crafting and one for organizing the craft room. This ties in nicely with my recent move of my craft room to the basement which allows me so much more room. Hoping to get going with this next week. Does anyone else use a Cricut for crafting?

Just coming off my high from my Disney trip and my son has finalized our Italy trip...so excited for October but not wishing away my much needed summer.

My Europe book is coming along but I still have to incorporate my son's photos...he insisted they all had to be edited to be perfect. When we have doubles, his will be better so I will swap out some photos for the better shots then hoping to print in another couple weeks. Thanks everyone for your kind comments!

Ester, I will be working on my Disney pages soon, I promise!

Lynnie, I am caught up on your FB page, looks like you and Karen are having the time of your lives, we did Route 66 almost 13 years ago and want to go back now!

Happy Thursday. We had the weather front come through today. A bit rugged for a while, but overall it was fine. Just Florida.

I have such the mess on my iPHONE with the photos. I had started with some albums [awhile ago] and they too have become rather messy. So, I'm thinking about deleting them all and starting fresh! Inside my head: it should be album > folders...but I think it goes the opposite. Off to research before making an even larger mess.

I have a Cricut - I don't use it as much as I expected/hoped to when I bought it. I find the software and it's need to do everything through the internet frustrating.

Oh no!!! Feel better!! What part of FL you in? I’m in Tampa Bay.

I use a cricut for many things crafting related. I’ve been an avid cricut supporter since their first machine. Which machine? What are you wanting to do with it?

Ester, I have Cricut Explore Air 2, upgraded years ago from the original smaller model and I still have all the cartridges from that one and was able to load them into the new one. I am currently working on some baby shower decorations for a diaper cake. The crafting summit that I joined has tons of free SVG's. What kind of projects do you make?

Sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with yours. Is there anything that I can help you with? If you want to join the summit, it is free and they have some wonderful crafters that have "how to make" in easy steps. You can sign up here. https://cricutadventure.com/?affiliate=smslllc

I can get the frustration on that. The summit that Karen reference may be a good resource. There are also other machines that don’t require internet usage or maybe not as much internet usage. It really comes down to what you are wanting to use it for. Let me know if you want any suggestions etc.
