WELCOME BACK! New Forum & Gallery NEWS! {3/13/25}

This looks great, but I do have a question. I used to create folders for my saved (bookmarked) threads, mostly to organize my monthly challenges and I see now I could do the same with "tags" but I can't seem to get the tag to stick. I have tried 3 times to label a post with a tag and it never shows up and when I try to filter my bookmarked posts it shows no matching posts.
My bookmarked threads are in my bookmark area, but the tags seem to be an issue for me.
Thoughts?
 
It's great to have the Forum and Gallery (Media) back up and running. I'm still having a few issues with navigating but I'm sure in time I'll get the hang of it and will be moving along just like I did on the old page.

SO many awesome new features!!!
I've been playing and I'm so impressed! I love the "top of page" button at the bottom right, and the overall improvements to ease of use in so many big and little ways.
You got this done is so little time for the amazing amount of work and upgrades I'm seeing!

Thank you everyone! I'm still in the process of learning everything but wow I love it so much! So many great new features!! I plan to make some tutorials soon, just waiting on some add-ons to be installed first. I was so nervous to make this big change but I'm so glad I did! It is such an improvement!

Thanks! I did read your post but as of yesterday all was working fine but the tags would not stick so I couldn't filter them but all seems to be fine today. Not sure if it was a site glitch or a me glitch! LOL!
I love how easy it is to bookmark a thread now!!

Wouldn’t you know the golf course opened and I’m back to work just as this beautiful new forum arrives for us! I just know I’ll be way behind y’all in learning all the fun new features. But I posted a few layouts and I’m loving the setup so far! Love the @ feature… and thanks for the shoutout @GingerScraps Our Instagram has gained a few followers since the conversion. Yay!
I’ve also noticed how much better this new format works from my phone. Which is great since this time of year much of my posting is done at work. And yay that the direct posting to Pinterest is back!! So much to explore… I should have it all figured out by 2027!!

I love the new look, This old lady is learning as I go, but I will learn it all. I love that I can like the comments in the gallery. I have always read them all and always thought it would be nice to like to let the person commenting that I notice, and love reading them. It gives me more confidents to keep improving on making layouts & makes a person feel good! I also love that you can now tag people, awesome add. Thank you so much @GingerScraps This is my home away from home. I hardly ever visit other sites and forums, because this is the best out there! Thank you for all you do!!
 
@GingerScraps I love all the new stuff but have a question. When checking out, or adding kits to the cart, we used to see a note if we had already purchased the item. It is not doing that now. Is this one of the things to come? or is it gone for good? Thanks!

I modified a setting in hops to fix the issue with incorrect "previously purchased" warning and had not realized it removed that warning. I just turned it back on. It is still glitchy, but I'm always here to help if you need confirmation whether you have purchased something in the past or not. I also did a deep clean of the database, so I'm not 100% sure if it has saved the "past purchases" log prior to 2024. Everything will remain in your order history forever so we can always find out if you purchased something in the past, but the actual "previously purchased" add-on mod still might not be 100% accurate unfortunately.

No, it might be a while unfortunately ... we have the newest version of this platform and the add-ons I want have not been created yet for our version. I have inquires out to 2 different people but still awaiting their reply. I thought it was going to be as simple as purchasing them and having them installed, but no such luck. It might be weeks or even months. I really don't know yet. Hopefully you can find a reasonable work around until then, I know tracking the gallery comment count is important for the praise team. @Grace. tagging you too, so you are aware.

We can chat about options in the Cookie forum, I know Grace has some system in place, she can help you with anything you need as well. <3
 
@GingerScraps I am really enjoying the "like" button in the gallery. It is great to know when someone has read your comment and hit the like button. Hope everyone also realises they can also hit the like button for the layout itself.
