Sugar Cookie : GingerScraps Praise
Hi All,
I have not been on my computer much lately, except for Christmas essentials. I managed to get all my Christmas cards out. They were very late going out, but by some miracle they arrived before Christmas, even the international ones. I was really pleased. I also created my annual family calendars really late, but by some miracle, they arrived on time and were wrapped up under the tree. I hot pressed t-shirts, made photobooks, individual custom calendars and half a dozen other things and was able to take Christmas Eve off and relax. I also had my shopping done pretty early. It all made me really happy.
Christmas was lovely. Daughter Karen did not come over, she was sick and spent Christmas alone, she just did not want to run the risk of passing it along. She was much better the next day and came over. Son Steven, wife Nessa and grandson Bruce came over and we had a lovely meal and everyone was thrilled with presents. Then Vanessa and I decorated cookies. She brought the cookies, we made royal icing and she showed me how she decorates. SHe is quite the artist. I will do a page of her cookies one of these days. I had decorated cookies several days earlier for the neighbours. There are seven in our building and two at the foot of the stairs that we know pretty well. They all raved over them, but they were nothing like Nessa's. They will be dazzled next year haha. Along with the family, we had neighbours join us for Christmas. They are all super-careful about COVID, and everyone is triple jabbed, so we felt pretty safe.
I scrapped today for the first time in forever. (I scrap my calendars and little 5x7 photo album gifts, but it is not the same!). I will post some in the next day or two.
I have a big party coming up in a week or so. so I have that on the horizon. It never stops haha.
Hope all is well with everyone.
Lynnie
