A lot of people wish they had been more brave and given something new a try. So this month’s challenge is: Trying out a new artistic endeavor for the first time. It could be paint pouring, needlework, writing a poem, tie dye, origami, community theater, being a clown/magician. See the range there? If it’s not drudgery, makes you or someone else smile, helps you return to a place of peace in your daily life, I call that art! So scrap about when you discovered a brand new to you artform.

I took piano lessons as a kid, but never tried a string instrument. My guy figured a ukulele...

Not a new art for me, but definitely a new technique for me to work on using quickpages, but changing it around with a few quick elements or turning it on it's side, adding a different background. Trying to use one quickpage as the base for several pages to easily have 4 or 5 cohesive layouts.

My new artistic endeavor is macrophotography and trying new techniques in my scrapbooking. On this layout I created a torn paper strip from one of the kit papers and turned one of my photos into a watercolor card.
