This Is my submission for the March 2026 Bucket List Challenge hosted by Key Line Digi Designs. It is about trying out the art form of Bible Journaling.
Bible Journaling is my favorite type of art. Traditional Bible Journaling is where it all started for me. I was invited to a friends house for a friendly get together and there was all this Bible Journaling stuff laid out. I fell in love with it. However, I found that traditional Bible Journaling and Scrapping became a trap of buying all the things and never using them.
Then my husband and son got together and bought me an IPad and I was introduced to the world of digital journaling, which of course led to digital scrapbooking. I can combine both of them any time by including Bible verses in my layouts. I tend to save my more detailed Bible Journaling for personal viewing only though, because in those layouts, I write very personal prayers and that is kept between me and the Lord, and sometimes my husband.
Now, with these layout challenges I am pushing myself to learn more about what looks good and how to get layouts created in a more stylish way. Am I always good at it? No, but I am having fun. I love looking at what other people are making because their eyes show a different point of view and their styles influence the rest of us. We are all learning together.
This layout was designed me. I did not use any templates.
I really enjoyed reading the story of how you came to be involved in digital scrapbooking. I have never done Bible journaling, but I can see where it would be a great approach to prayer and meditation.
Very pleasing layout to the eye. I like how you have done the journaling to go around the elements instead of having just a straight line of journaling. Your journaling is very encouraging also to be willing to delve a little more in sharing scripture layouts.
