GingerScraps Signature Guidelines & Tutorial {Updated April 2025}​

Hey sweet scrappers! Just a quick reminder to follow the signature (sigi) rules when creating your forum siggies. We love seeing your creativity, personality, and blinkies—so have fun, but keep it within these guidelines:

What’s Allowed:​

• Share your name/info, sport your favorite blinkies, and express your style!
• Feel free to link to your own blog, Facebook, Instagram or your GingerScraps Gallery.
• Be creative and enjoy showing off your sigi!

What’s Not Allowed:​

• No off-site shop links or advertising of outside shops/sites.
• Do not include images or language that you wouldn’t want your small children to see or hear.

Size Matters:​

• The maximum size for your entire signature is 700px wide by 150px tall.
• This includes all images, text, and blinkies—everything must fit within a 700x150 box.

How to Watch the Video:

• Click on the video to start playing it.
• You can watch it right here on the site, or click the YouTube logo on the video to open and watch it directly on YouTube.
• Want to see it bigger? Once the video is playing, hover your mouse over it and look for the full screen icon (usually in the bottom-right corner). Click that to make the video fill your screen.
• To exit full screen mode, just press the "Esc" (Escape) key on your keyboard.

How to Change Your Signature Simple Text Tutorial :​

A signature is a personalized block of text, images, or links that appears under your posts. Here’s how to update yours:

Open Your Signature Settings​

1. Log in to the forum.
2. Click on your avatar or username in the top-right corner.
3. In the dropdown menu, click "Signature" (or visit: https://forums.gingerscraps.net/account/signature).

Edit Your Signature​

1. In the signature editor, type your new text, links, or insert images.
2. Use the formatting toolbar to:
   • Change fonts, colors, and alignment
   • Add clickable links ( button)
   • Insert images ( button)
   • You will notice 3 dots in the toolbar that you can click on for more options.

Save & Apply Changes​

1. Click "Save" to update your signature.
2. Your new signature will now appear on your posts.

Thank you for this! I updated my mine. I used a link from imgur for my image. I had to play with it til I figured out which link from Imgur it would take, but it was just the "share link" instead of the one further down that says for "forums" which I used to use.
Here is a screen shot with the link I used circled. Hope this helps anyone wanting to use Imgur.
