February 2026 Recipe Card Challenge with Let Me Scrapbook

Maurine Stettler

Designer: Let Me Scrapbook
NOTE: all participants in this challenge will be entered in a random drawing for a $10 gift card to my store. I will notify you by private message. 😊

The rules for the Recipe Card Challenge are simple: create a 4ā€ x 6ā€ recipe card using some (or all) of the free mini kit. If you’d like more options, I have a bigger kit on sale this month in my store (see preview below) at this link.

The general theme for this month's cards is your favorite chocolate recipe. This can be a cake, candy, pie -- really any kind of dessert or yummy snack. If you don’t have a ā€œchocolateā€ recipe to share but still want to create a card, just use the kit for the recipe of your choice. 😊 I’ve included my card in the download.

Once you are done, upload your layout to the 2026 Recipe Card Challenge gallery and share/post it here. Be sure to have cards uploaded and posted by 11:59 pm EST on the last day of the month to be included in the Challenge Rewards. I look forward to seeing your creative cards and getting some new recipes to try!

Here is the limited time freebie mini kit; you can download it HERE (no longer available).

Here's my card for the month. Years ago, I worked with an older lady named Gert. She was famous for bringing this yummy treat to our office potluck lunches. My kids LOVED this recipe and fondly named it "Gert's Dessert." Serving size shown is for pretty good sized pieces; could get a lot more if cut smaller.

Really, you should have thought 28 days would be enough time for me to come up with a recipe card.
But I left it for the very last day šŸ™„
Anyway, I made these muffins today and thought it would be a good recipe for this month's theme. So here's my card:

Edited to add: "Stracciatella" is the Italian name for that white ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. The muffins look similar, so that's why they got this name :)

Can't believe I almost didn't get a card completed this month. It seemed to take me forever to find a good chocolate recipe that a card wasn't already completed previously since I love anything chocolate and doing this for so many years.
This one is so easy and even have an easier on made with a Jiffy cake mix, which I hope to do later today.

Easy and Quick version

Hope you are totally well again and no more back slides.
