This View

Great scenic pic. Those big chevrons under everything really add great interest as does the stitching and little torn hanging tag.

It's definitely a grand view, and one well worth photographing. The close-up of the fountain is nice, too. At first, I couldn't understand the configuration of the area, but after a little bit of study, I figured out that Pittsburgh is located at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio rivers.
The reason I was so interested is that it looked to me as if Pittsburgh is situated on an island, but I now know this isn't true. Also, floods being in the news lately, I followed up on historical floods in that area and discovered that the Pittsburgh Flood of 1936 was its worst ever, cresting at 46'. Whew! That's a lotta H2O.
