Who would believe that Ireland is a surfing destination? But in fact, there are three world-class surfing beaches there! Two are on the Wild Atlantic Way, sharing a beach and coastline. Mullaghmore, Sligo and Bundoran, Donegal have some of the highest waves in the world. The best surfing is found there in the early fall, September and October, but a cloudy, windy, mid-May day wasn't going to keep these intrepid souls out of the water.
