Off to a Great Start

In case you read the journaling before reading this - I have to say that my son-in-law is the kindest, gentlest man I have ever met. He would never punch anyone, especially his children. That was honestly just to get our grandson to smile naturally. Our grandson’s first day of school photos are an annual event but he still has trouble smiling on cue, so he often has a blank or seemingly unhappy expression on his face. He has always excelled in academics, but I despair of his ever caring enough to make his writing neat. Maybe this year?

Everything is from Happy First Day and the matching newsletter mini kit by from Designs by Lisa Minor. I did adjust colors of various items. I also used a photo mask, photo frames, and paper placements from a template from the Lots & Lots 2 Templates by Heartstrings Scrap Art - but I discarded more than I used.
