Journaling:
A lot of the graves in the cemetery are family “plots” with a small mausoleum above the ground. The actual graves are usually underground, and the mausoleum is just a place for someone to kneel, pray and maybe place flowers. Some of the mausoleums are well-kept and others look like they have been abandoned with the doors missing or broken and the stonework overgrown and dirty. The cost of a plot is quite high and many of the graves are family graves with multiple individuals interred and memorialized. In parts of the cemetery the mausoleums look like rows of tiny houses lining the streets. One mausoleum looked like something out of an adventure story with stone steps spiralling down to some unknown chamber – not a climb down into the dark that I would want to take!
Great journaling and photos of the mausoleums at the cemetery. Nice layers of papers in the background. Nice left side of the double layout.

I enjoyed reading your journaling. I like the pictures of the mausoleum row, it really does look like a lot of different row houses in a neighborhood.
