During my childhood years, I never asked where the parades started. It appeared at Christmas and Easter and family and I were right there to enjoy the festivities. The Cronins were responsible for the Christmas and Easter parades we enjoyed. They were the highlights of our young years!
Oh this is great I love the newspaper template you used and the great photos from back in the day, what great traditions. I can remember the parade we had in our town every summer and they would toss out candy but better yet the Wiener Mobile would come and we got whistles. Thanks for sharing your memory made me think of fond memories I had.
