Heartache

Oh Becky there are no words for the emotion this page brings out in me. I love the Pain word art, the artsy feel to the page and that broken heart element. Your journaling is so well done in expressing your feelings. Know that I am thinking of you during the difficult time of his Life Celebration.

My dear Becky, I feel your pain. You have expressed it and illustrated it so deeply in this beautifully composed LO, I am in awe of what you have done here, I simply could not and have not done this, you are so strong to be able to put this out there and I hope it has been therapeutic for you. I wrap you in warm squishy cyber hugs.

Having someone you love take their own life has got to be THE most devastating blow for the ones they left behind. People talk about and praise those who risk their lives for the benefit of others as being brave. Well, I got say that going through what you are experiencing puts bravery in a whole new category.
It is common for a person who takes their own life to show no signs of mental illness and it is common for them to hide their feelings from the ones they love. My nephew took his life at age 35 a few years ago as did my best friend's grandson. No mental illness in either of them.
Lean on us, Becky, and anyone else who offers. My heart literally aches for you. July will be a very emotional rough month. Give yourself permission to express your grief anyway that you want. And know that you are not alone in this.
