Montréal is one of the oldest cities in North America. His ancestors
arrived here in 1608; our children are the eleventh generation. The Collège started its life as a hotel; it was acquired by the Catholic
Church in 1869 and converted to an all-boys boarding school. L'Oratoire Saint Joseph began as a tiny chapel in 1905; over the next two decades, Canada's largest church, with one of the largest domes in the world, came to be. It's a National Historic Site, and was the venue for Céline Dion's wedding in 1994.
