Holy cow, Lynnie... I bet you are tired. I managed to get in 20 layouts by last night, and I'm happy with that number considering how much travel I had in March. I actually have a weekend at home. Our weather has warmed up (it was 80 degrees yesterday), but oh my... the winds! You had to hold on to something if you were outside yesterday! I haven't looked at the forecast yet today. The Farmers' Market is scheduled to reopen for the season today, so I may head to town and check that out and get some steps in. Hope you all have a great weekend!
I am tired. I am not working any more, so I don't have to worry about that, but I do babysit 3-4 days a week, walk five miles a day (which ends up being almost two hours, because I drag my feet haha), and I am involved in way too many clubs and activities. When I first retired, I relaxed a lot more, but I seem compelled to fill up any free hours, which is all my own fault. I just get tired.
I've managed to do 20 pages for the scrapathon plus my CT requirements. And that is really a lot for me. There are so many other things I like to do, so it is always a matter of making choices.
I was lucky this month that it was one of the wettest month's ever, days of rain kept me inside scrapping, LOL.
Today is a rainy day too, so my first challenge is already in the gallery! Have a great weekend everyone.
I do love curling up when it is raining outside and taking advantage of the enforced 'rest' to do fun stuff like scrapping! It is making choices and it was nice for me to choose scrapping this month! I have been neglecting it terribly. I sort of fell out of the swing of things and almost stopped scrapping completely for a while. The scrapathon was a great boost. By the way, it is lovely to see you here chatting
Love all the zoom meeting layouts! Every layout is different and beautiful and really shows the creativity in this group!
I jumped in halfway through the Scrap-a-thon and got 10 layouts finished. I snuck 3 in under the wire last night. LOL. Loved all the great challenges.
If you're in the US, we survived the rolling storms that produced tornadoes last night. I've just turned on the TV but as we watched the weather all night last night, I knew there will be severe damage in places near to us. After the school shooting Monday in Nashville and then these storms, there are a lot of hurting people here.
Diane, I am so glad you have weathered the storms well. The devastation is dreadful. There was a tornado in Nashville some years ago, shortly after my daughter moved back to California. Here neighbour there sent pictures of Karen's old apartment, completely destroyed. It made my blood run cold.
I started the Scrapathon on the 17th March and was not sure I would even complete 10 - I really loved doing the scrapping so much I ended up with 31. It was such a great motivation. I used to scrap all the time and these days have barely done any.
I did 20 for the challenges. 131 gallery comments. Not bad considering we were gone March 9-20.
Baseball today.

That is really good, but you are such a quick and talented scrapper. Great on the gallery comments, I think I managed 63. It gives you a lot of admiration for the Sugar Cookies who need to do a minimum of 200 comments a month on our pages.
I did 52 comments, I really struggle with them. I intend to say something meaningful every time. I don't want to say great page every time. I just can't find the right words, LOL
I have a spreadsheet of words to help me out of a rut when I am commenting. Instead of saying nice, I can say eye-catching, pleasing, charming, artistic, heart-warming, inventive, etc. Instead of saying page, I can say composition, creation, design, layout, work of art, etc. Instead of saying cluster, I can say flow, formation, grouping, bits and bobs, bouquet, etc. I also have a few things on how it made me feel "I am enchanted by," "This touched me," etc. They aren't pre-designed comments to cut and paste, they are words to inspire me when I am feeling stale and to make my comments more interesting to read.
It must be particularly difficult for you since English is your second language. I can only imagine!!
