Yes, I even sold Creative Memories products for a while! I had more "paper" supplies and gadgets than I care to admit. I started my oldest's scrapbook (he's 10.5 now! eek!) and I did just a handful of pages (maybe 3). Then all of a sudden my 2nd (my one and only daughter) was born 2 years later, and there his book still sat. But while pregnant with my daughter I was creating a slideshow for my SIL wedding, a growing up type slideshow of her growing up, then him growing up, then the two of them dating, etc. I discovered freebies for digital scrapbooking. I started with a pretty horrible free program and quickly got annoyed when I couldn't rotate or change colors of some of the elements. Then I remembered I had photoshop (like really old version of photoshop) from when I was in HS and on yearbook. So I started scrapbooking in that! Not realizing that's what more people used. I was way more comfortable with that and knew a lot more "tricks" due to my PS days in HS. Now I've sold most of my "paper supplies" and kept only a handful of tools and papers for kids crafts, etc. No one will I ever go back to paper!! LOL I just don't have the room to spraed out all the crap, and I love how quick & easy it is to create one LO, and then swap out pics & journaling and all of a sudden have another page for another one of my kids. With 4 children, this is saving me a ton of time! There are quite a few pages that I can just print 4 copies of and they each have one, or swap out a few pics here and there and they have their own personalized page! Don't get me wrong they do have some events and pages that are totally unique to their books, but I try to duplicate as much as I can! Each kid has a book for each year of their life! and I think they average about 150-160 pages per book, now multiply that by FOUR and my oldest is 10, you can get an idea of how many pages I've created! (although I'm a little over a year behind!) But still! wow! I hope its not all a waste and they enjoy it someday! They do enjoy flipping through them now and that makes me happy!
