Pray Request for a GingerBread Lady

I am so sorry to hear about this! I will be praying for Penny and her family as well as her care team. Things like this are never easy but it always seems so much worse at the holidays.
 
Oh goodness, it's so hard to endure such challenges but with faith and prayer all things are possible! Wishing Penny healing blessings and all of God's blessings for Penny and family! HOPE!!

The GingerScraps community has been thinking about Penny constantly and continues to keep her in our prayers. If there’s an update you’re comfortable sharing, we’d love to know how she’s doing.

Hello Ginger,
Penny remains in the ICU. She is still on the ventilator and now dialysis. There are ups and downs but she is making small improvements overall as her health is very complicated even for the docs here to care for her. We are here in Orlando and the care she is receiving is very good.
Thank you for your concern and please thank all for the continued prayers.

It is with a heavy heart that I share some very sad news. Our beloved designer, Penny, has passed away. Her husband, Vinny, shared that she is now pain-free and reunited with God as she rests peacefully.

Penny’s incredible talent, kind spirit, and unwavering creativity have touched so many of us over the years. She wasn’t just a designer—she was a friend, mentor, and inspiration to our community. Her loss leaves a void that will be deeply felt by everyone who knew her or admired her work.

In honor of Penny, her shop at GingerScraps will remain open until the end of January. All proceeds from sales in Sweet Pea Designs’ shop will go directly to Penny’s family. This is a way for us to honor her legacy and remember the beauty she brought into our lives through her art.

Please join me in keeping Vinny and Penny’s loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. If you’d like to share a memory, thought, or message for Vinny, please feel free to do so here, and I will make sure he receives them.

She was a wonderful , compassionate and loving person. I have been with her for over 10 years she was the second designer's team that I was on. I am just heartbroken but I have prayed for her and I know this is God's will she is now in heaven at peace with her Sister. Heaven gained another Angel. It just hurts so much right now I am just devastated. My prayers and sympathies to Vinny and her family
