I have been using digital cameras for 20 years now and have regularly backed up my files, updating the media as technology advanced (floppy disks then 3 1/2" disks then hard drive, writeable Cds etc). I now go to use some of the older photos and discover that for a period of time, I used a camera that stored my photos in .fpx files. I think that stands for FlashPix and it is associated with Kodak Easyshare software. Unfortunately I have tried to get other software to open the files and I have tried downloading the (now obsolete) Kodak software but nothing opens the files and the software won't install on my Windows 10 system. Does anyone know of a way I can recover those files so I can convert them to something more universal?
