Oh my so sorry to hear about all that is going on with you hoping and praying they can help you with the surgery whenever they do it. Nice that Sarah likes her dance bookWOW! what tributes Lynnie and I LOVE the video.
Update on me- I had a neuro appointment on Monday with the Nurse Practitioner. However, she came in with the Dr. [surgeon]. I was a bit surprised as at this practice one "does not just get an appointment with one of the doctors"....
So- Cliff notes- she showed him the MRI's of my cervical spine. ( over 1,000 images)... No wonder it took so long for someone to come into the room.
Apparently, neither was impressed.
Surgery will be scheduled [whenever they decide]. There is a reason for the numbness, headaches and loss of balance. ...
I do have a 'new' friend. "Balancing Betty" is her name. My cane.
On a super happy note. Sarah's dance book 2 arrived and she is over the top!. It printed great. Thank you Shutterfly.

Michi, it sounds as though you are really going through the mill with your health. I think you need a long, relaxing cruise to help you recover after the surgery! Take care of yourself!WOW! what tributes Lynnie and I LOVE the video.

Kindergarten already? Time flies. I'm sure she will have a blast.Michi, I hope you get to feeling better. I am thinking about you.
Just got back yesterday from a 4-day trip to Ohio for my granddaughter's birthday. She is now 5 and off to kindergarten in a few weeks! The party was outside and it rained with thunder and lightning! Fortunately the main party was under a pavilion and we didn't get that wet. Sunday we went to church and would have gone to the pool except it rained again. Crazy! My son started feeling sick that day too. We figure it was because he pushed himself too hard on a 13-mile run Saturday. His symptoms were flu-like. I need to check on him, actually.
This week in school we are studying Judaism. I know a lot of the history, so hopefully this week will be slightly easier than the last 2.![]()
Is this what you are looking for @msbrad ?I was just in the gallery. I was looking for the 'rules' on posting and didn't see them. Any thoughts? I know they were there before, as I only read some of them....

CANNOT WAIT to see the layouts from these events!!! I didn't even know what a Loungefly bag was. Glad you got to share your joy.Hiya! Two pages were finished and posted last week—calling that a win! LOL! This weekend brought a new adventure: the first-ever pin-trading event for Randy and me. Pin collecting and trading at the Disney parks became a new hobby this year, and it’s been an absolute blast. A group of fellow Disney fans hosts monthly events in Kansas City and St. Louis, alternating between the two cities.
We packed up our pins for trading, along with several Disney Loungefly bags, and had such a great time. Randy traded Star Wars pins with a 4-year-old just starting out in the hobby (adorable!). A teenager spotted one of the bags and looked heartbroken not to have a bag to trade. When offered a trade for pins instead, she nearly squealed with joy—she’s now the proud owner of that bag! LOL!
More events are definitely on the horizon. Next time, all the Disney clothes that no longer fit will be coming along. It’s great being a smaller size now, but it’s a little bittersweet having to part with so many awesome Disney shirts and sweatshirts.
yes on strange. I think a ghost!!!! Sometimes...I will see it... and then poof....How strange, I still see it!

@LilyAnn, it sounds as though you had an incredibly hectic time. I hope you got loads of pictures and you scrap them!! That is a lot of people. It's been a whirlwind of a MONTH!!! My sister-in-law and youngest came. Her oldest daughter, her husband and their daughter came as well. 5 additional people. They slept wherever there was room. I took two days off to spend with them going to malls, game rooms and such. Sitting down and chilling, playing games and eating! Than Jeff went to Top Golf with them one day when I went to work. They stayed for 9 days.
One of my cousins came in from Tennessee and we went out to dinner after I picked them up from the airport. They had a wedding to go to.
Also thru the month of July we were prepping for our Christmas in July party. We put up lots of Christmas decorations on the outside of our house (nothing on the inside). Lots of cooking Friday night.
Saturday morning we got at 6am to set up the tents and put up lighting around the tents, cleaning the BBQ and I ran about 4 errands getting things from different stores. It would have been easier if Jeff was able to take some time off to do some things ahead of time.
In the end, the weather was gorgeous. We had a great time. All total we had about 40 people over. They were coming and going from 5 to 10 at night. Everyone said it was well put together! It was a lot of work but well worth it!
I was so tired on Sunday, after a little clean up in the morning, we had breakfast. I slept most of the day, probably getting up just to make dinner.
Today I'm riddled with bites up and down my legs and arms. I didn't feel anything Saturday or Sunday. Mosquitos probably got in the house!
Philip is going for another exploratory surgery on the same wrist that he's had problems with for years. Hopefully, this time will be the last.
This event was in Kansas City which is about an hour away. St. Louis is about 4 hours away, so not sure how often we will head that direction. However if we do, I'll be sure to let you know!@breoni Shana, where were you this time? If it was St. Louis, then I missed ya! If you ever do come to the St. Louis ones, let me know in advance--I'd love to have a meetup if you're amenable.I'm glad you had such a good time--you sure deserve it after the last few months you've had! Trading stuff can be so fun!
200K... are you taking "pledges" for your ride? I mean, I'm guessing that you're doing in in stages, but is there somewhere that we can donate in your name? I used to donate to the American Cancer Society annually and we held a local Relay For Life every year, but unfortunately that fell through several years ago and hasn't rejuvenated. Good luck to you. Amazing that 200K "should be easy" for you! smh!Hi everyone, I have been doing much of the same thing....downsizing the house (I have my name in a 55+ apartment but it may be a long wait) but don't want to wait until the last minute. I have been cycling a lot and tomorrow is the kick-off for cycling marathon that I am doing to raise funds for kids cancer, in memory of late husband. I have pledged to ride 200k in the month of August which should be easy for me! Then late in the month I am visiting my son in Banff for a week. I will be hiking up 2 mountains so trying to get in shape for the past couple weeks. I hopefully can get some more pages done so I can print my Oregon trip and still working on my Italy book. Hoping everyone is enjoying the summer and getting lots accomplished. Have a blessed weekend!
Carla, Thank you for asking, The pledge is to ride 200k in the month of August. I will probably ace that but I also am going to Banff to visit my son for the last week of the ride so it will likely be in 3 weeks. I can send you the details in a private FB message.200K... are you taking "pledges" for your ride?
