OMGosh!!! Can you stand this?!?
I love this format. I hope Ginger saw my comment on the Sugar and Spice thread. This really turned out nice.
I haven't tried out the gallery yet or posting in the forum, but if it's as pretty as this is, I am VERY excited.
See ya tomorrow!

Attention: @GingerScraps

I just had a try at uploading to the gallery (Media) and it was easy but no link facility for linking to the store.
Now to share my page here... I went to the bottom right side after uploading my image..... click on the little logo at the front of the bottom - gallery and it straight away copied the link. Now I will paste it here and see if it worked.

I know Ginger is still working on things for the gallery. There are a few issues, particularly with comments on past layouts that have been uploaded. The comments are cut off and a little garbled, with strange characters before and after. I am not sure what she can do about that, but she is working on it.

I agree... It's SO nice to be back together and chatting again!

Anne-Marie, your link worked fine for me. I'm sure there are going to be glitches as everything works it's way out.

I just love the new format. So clean and it seems "bigger". Am I right? IDK.

Anyway... I'm off to Raleigh, NC today for the next five days and I'm so excited I could almost BURST! 🤯
I'm meeting about 3000 other card-makers from the US, Canada and possibly other countries for our Stampin' Up! annual convention. Eight of us are going from my upline and we're just a buncha Nutsos. That's our team name. lol. I'll have my computer with me, but I won't check in until we're back in the hotel each night, so... I won't check in. HA!

Have a great week-weekend!

Love and Blessings!
Carla, in MN

Hi everyone, glad we are back on line now and can't wait to check out the new forum.

Here in my world, it has been busy taking care of hubby since he returned home. There have been significant changes in his health that require round the clock care but we are managing with palliative care for now.

I have managed to complete a few challenges this month, now to upload them.

Hi Lynnie, missed our chat time!

Hi Lynnie, missed our chat time!
I can only imagine how hard it is with the big change in your life.

I did a bunch of challenges in the off time :)

ooh well it has been a busy time. I was having forum & challenge withdrawals but wouldn't have been able to access anyway as we had very spotty internet during the cyclone.
Alfie took his time getting in, and thankfully, we didn't get any damage but loads of debris. A tree fell through the verandah roof on my brother's place, and all three of my siblings lost power for a few days. I haven't seen my Colins (all the curlews have been called this) since the cyclone came in, and I hope they are all OK. We had lots of water-logged birds landing on our undercover washing line to dry off.
Will be back later to have a poke around. I got maybe 2 challenges done as we still had power but couldn't upload much

We have a lot of storm cleaning to do this weekend & hopefully the panic buying in stores will have settled so we can actually buy bread & milk without having to get up before the sun

take care all

@Sams Scraps That is good that you did not receive any damage. We lost power for 24 hours. Of course lots of rain but no damage around our Retirement Village. We are thankful for where we now live.
My heart did go out to the town where we last lived. They had some flooding but thankfully not like 3 years ago when our home was flooded.

WOW! Really big change, but I will get use to it.... I do like that we can like the comments in the gallery now. But I don't see a blog or shop button in the forum, am I missing it somewhere?? Hope to get it all figured out. And I can't go to my profile page like we did before so how do we change our profile pic and avatar?? But the new site looks really good so hoping to figure it all out soon, as we are all trying to do. I hope to get some layouts done here soon. I did get my CT layouts added to the gallery.
The weather here has been much better the last few days so got out for a bit... ready for warm days! My body can't handle the cold anymore. But now the raining season will be here and thunderstorms. I actually sleep better when it rains and thunderstorms, so that is a good thing.
Well ladies have a wonderful day! And a beautiful weekend! Will try and stop in soon! 🤪

@Alta2014 You can get to the shop and the blog from the shopping cart and word press icons in the top right! They may eventually be back across the top menu, but for now that is the easiest.

@Sams Scraps that sounds like quite a storm you had to deal with!! I am glad all is okay.

@A-M Thank heavens it was just 24 hours. How typical to lose power right when you can get into the site!

I was in withdrawal too. <3 Missed you guys.

That cyclone sure sounded nasty! I'm glad that you are safe, Sam and Anne-Marie.

Still praying for you, Karen. (((HUGS)))

Started my 4th class last week. It's all about Darwin--at least the first few weeks are anyway. I'm working on a class project to be turned in this weekend. Had to do a nature study.

Started whole orchestra practices for the oratorio. It was pure chaos last Sunday, but I think we came together well before we ended.

Happy Friday, everyone!

I'm still working to get adjusted back to my time zone. I love traveling, but last week's schedule has put me in a loop. Ha. I was in Atlanta, Georgia for our national convention. My role was to help chaperone and play paparazzi to 44 high schoolers and 8 college students. When we have our annual youth tour to Washington, D.C., each participating state selects one student to represent them on the National Youth Leadership Council. The YLC then attend the convention and act as pages. They are such good kids and scarily smart! We keep them busy with activities when they're not working. This year, we took them to the Georgia Aquarium, the College Football Hall of Fame, a professional basketball game, and a concert. I also got to squeeze in a personal field trip to the Center of Puppetry Arts so I could visit the Jim Henson exhibit and see Kermit the Frog! Ha.

I have so many photos to scrap, but my laptop is starting to act up. GULP! I keep getting errors that my "scratch disk" is full, and it won't let me do things like save my layout. So I'm going to need to spend time to figure out what I need to do to remedy this error. Have any of you ever dealt with that message?
