Wow how exciting, trips to disneyland. I hope to get to the US one day & do Disneyland with the kids but I fear they are growing up too quickly & we may not get to do it.
Busy weekend of footy as usual for us but I logged into my email & found I had won, not 1 but 2 kits over the weekend from Connie Prince, cannot wait to get in & have a look at them, right after work that is .. ah mondays, they just come around too quick!!
Fun day of washing & work for me here, so much design work to be done for clients & I have zero motivation as my shoulder has been playing up & causing me pain & mild headaches.

I was worried about the same thing, which is why I figured I would do it this summer before they get any older - my boys are 10 and 12. Since I am graduating college this month, it will be the last chance I get to be home with them before I start looking for a job, so I wanted it to be special. I have been home with them since they were born...I feel sad knowing this is our last summer together.

Implementing an Electronic Health Record in a multi-site facility.

I'm so not ready for Monday to get here, I liked last weekend with the holiday where we had Monday off - wish we had more of those!

Sounds a bit like the major capstone project we are working on right now. Each group in the class (4-5 people assigned) has to be a consulting group that is writing a proposal to implement a HIM department in a private practice. We are almost done, but it has been a mammoth amount of work!

That does sound like a lot of work! I'm sure you will be glad to have it done!

It's insane the sheer amount of stuff you have to cover. Thankfully my part is almost done. :multistars:

Well, I have just returned home from 3 days of camping and training, whew! That course is finally over and now I can focus on the goals I made there. :) I'm glad to be out of the rain and the heat!

My birthday is Tuesday and I'm going bonkers doing stuff not for me that day, LOL! DD has band practice and a music camp this month and I know it's going to be crazy chauffeuring her everywhere.

I am really hoping for a calm June. My adult kiddo, wife and my grandson moved into an apartment so no more little pitter-patter in the house keeping me entertained/distracted.
School is out for the only left at home kiddo (16 yr old) on Thursday. Basically this whole week is no school because teachers don't care and tell the kids not to come so they can clean their rooms and be out of the building on Friday. Silly public school system!
And said kiddo starts his full time job on Friday so I am basically at home alone........... Well except for the 3 part time jobs I do each week. :)
I'm looking forward to tackling a couple projects - putting up a picture/shelf gallery on my entry way wall and putting back together the basement after the flood emptied it nearly 2 years ago.

That is my month.

I have 5 kids & my eldest is 15 in august so it may just end up being a pipe dream. We are going to New Zealand later in the year so that will be pretty special as none of us have been outside of Australia yet.

I am a stay-at-home mom so I scrap while she's away or after dinner. Last month wasn't so great, but I'm going to come back this month, I hope!

Does anyone know what the process is of adding a designer to sell their stuff here? Are people normally contracted with other sites or can a designer choose multiple sites? One of my favourite designers isn't on GS and I was wondering if maybe she could be?

They would need to contact Ginger. She will discuss terms with them and potentially offer a guest designer position until a slot opens up here. I don't know what the criteria is, but I know she tries to balance the designers so there is a nice variety, but she does not want them to be completely inundated with competition. You can only really support so many designers efficiently. Some of my favourites are out there without a home also. One in particular is a member here and every time I see a layout with her stuff I get goosepimples, they are so wonderful.

So, daughter arrives Wednesday from Nashville. I am so excited I can barely breathe. Son arrives from England on 10th. I will have all my babies together. (Ok, not babies anymore, but they will always be MY babies!)

I'm finding my way around GS ... slowly. So much going on here, I love it.

This month, like many is crazy for us. Leaving only Monday and Friday evenings free of commitments. Some nights of the week we have 2 people going different directions at the same time and we are a one car family.

Typical week...
Azure-lee has Karate on Tues &Thurs
Jessalyn has Tball practice Saturday morning then Gymnastics in the afternoon, Tball game days are Wednesday.
My hubby is the percussionist in our towns concert band and they practice Tues nights
I just started lawn bowling and like to bowl on Mon and Fri evenings.

I work as a home childcare provider so the summer ahead only gets busier when school gets out on June 28th.

Oh I hear you, fortunately we are a 2 car family but with 5 kids sometimes that isn't even enough lol
Thankfully all my kids play the same sport of aussie rules even my daughter, but the weekend we don't have home games can be tricky with them all being in different places.
I am grateful to have met some other wonderful mums that will happily make room for any of my guys if we have to be in more than 2 places at once. Our summers are much quieter with no sport but winter is footie season

We met with the cancer clinic today for the first time since her diagnosis of colon cancer. She is at a stage three. Chemo would create more issues and it might solve. Nothing will be done for now. My mommy. The kids only surviving grandparent.

Leaving the country for the first time is always a big deal! I bet they will have so much fun!

I just loaded up my wish list in the store and bought a bunch of kits :) I'm going to need to increase my scrapbooking budget. LOL
