I started a new documentary series on HBO called Born to Bowl, I watched the 1st episode and totally enjoyed it! Who knew bowling could be so entertaining?!

Still watching Survivor (season 50) WOW it is a great season!! The most recent episode was so full of twists, it was super fun to watch!

I also finished the Netflix reality show Age of Attraction - it was a super easy binge if you like reality dating shows.

A new season of Love on the Spectrum started on April 1st, and I absolutely love that show. It’s so heartwarming. It always makes me think of my brother and how much I miss him.

My oldest brother, Wade, was injured in a major accident when he was 5, which left him with a lifelong cognitive disability, and later passed away at 28. He was the best - so funny, so warm, and just such a special person. While he wasn’t autistic, the kindness and sincerity you see on the show remind me of him, and it brings back a lot of love and memories. 💛

I have my grandson with me at present, so we will be watching shows that we used to watch with his dad (my son) before he died…
Once Upon a Time
Highlander

With my husband, we will be watching the Mission Impossible and Jack Reacher movies, maybe Bourne.

LOVE Reacher! (Alan Ritchson is so yummy! The Amazon series; I'm not "fond" of the Cruise movies)

I'm up-to-date on The Pitt. Love that and you're to blame, Miss Ginger. smh..... but that's okay. Noah is very cool. I'm sort of trying to get hubby to think about it. I wouldn't mind watching it again from the beginning. He like ER.

BTW, I agree, I tried Scarpetta and couldn't stay with it. Rosy McEwen, 100%. Nicole Kidman, absolutely not. Bobby Cannavale, eh. Jake Cannavale, well duh, but eh too. Simon Baker, no. But yeah... it just wasn't put together well enough to keep me engaged and wanting to come back for more, even though....... I WAS BINGING! Seriously. When I started watching The Pitt, I paused it to go to the restroom. Scarpetta? I walked away and forgot that I'd been watching something! How bad is that?

So, I have to find something else to binge while I'm crafting! I'm not a Highlander type.

I started a list of things I wanted to watch ... TV, movies, etc. But life has been so crazy lately I need to pick up watching those.

  • We are still keeping up on The Pitt ..... obsessed !!!
  • I started watching Shifting Gears ..... cute show. Tim Allen is great in it and so is Kat Dennings (from Two Broke Girls).
  • I wanted to start watching Happy's Place which is the new Reba show. A lot of her other costars from Reba have made guest appearances on the show.
  • My hubby has got me sucked into Curse of Oak Island .... it's been how many years, they haven't found any treasure yet? LOL!!!
  • We have re-binged Once Upon a Time so many times in our family .... we love it !!!

I need something new to watch, but I guess I hate to start watching something brand new because shows don't last very long like they used to. There are so many shows that we really liked but only lasted one or two seasons. My cousin from Texas is still bugging me to watch Breaking Bad.

Fun Fact: for those who don't know and watch The Pitt, the actress that Plays Dr. Mel King (the doctor with the autistic sister), is the real life daughter of Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad.

Hubby LOVES Shifting Gears! I haven't been able to get into it. I loved Home Improvement and Last Man, but this one feels like the same jokes. IDK. I do love Tim Allen, but... And I love Reba too. I keep forgetting to watch The Pitt on Thursdays and have to catch up on the weekends. Of course, that's okay, because I need something to watch while I'm playing.
NO WAY! Mel is Cranston's kid? That is so cool. I've thought about Breaking Bad too, but never taken the plunge.
I love HP and could watch that over and over and over, but I tried OUAT once and it was just a little too dark for me. IDK....

Someone HAS to give me some more ideas please.

I am enjoying seeing weekly the newest series in When Call the Heart.

The other night my husband and I watched a lovely old movie "Midnight Lace". The main stars were Doris Day and Rex Harrison. I picked the bad character right near the start of the movie.

I'm still working my way through the latest season of Bridgerton. Yesterday, I let Fixer to Fabulous run as my background noise while I worked on layouts. Normally I don't get to watch the home improvement shows without hubby's constant critiques on every decision made... LOL. But he was out seeing clients when I was home, so I got to watch a show in peace! Ha!

I love Fixer to Fabulous !!!!

I used to watch a lot of shows on HGTV, especially House Hunters until the perspective owners would complain about the wallpaper on a half a million dollar home.

It's called paint !!!! LOL !!! I had to stop watching because I was constantly yelling at the TV.

Many years ago I was obsessed with the Shirley Temple movies ... my grandmother bought me the book "The Little Princess" when I was younger and I read the book and watched the movie. One of my absolute favorites. I was hoping our cable provider had a channel of just those old Shirley Temple movies; but haven't found them yet. Watching those movies reminds me of going to my grandmothers house on Sunday's and after dinner we would just sit for hours and watch them.

I had that book!!! And I've seen all the Shirley Temple movies. My mother loved them and we would watch them together. What a fun memory!

You and my hubby would have to take turns yelling at the TV during the home improvement shows. It drives him nuts when they fabricate a problem or emergency that has to be solved about halfway through the episode. If a show format follows a specific formula (aka insert drama after second commercial break), we stop watching that show! LOL! I do like to watch anything with Chip and Joanna, or with Ben and Erin. I also like the Property Brothers but I don't like all of their series. Leave out the celebrities and just focus on these two highly competitive twins, and it's all good. LOL!

I started the new Netflix show called
Something Very Bad Is About To Happen. So far I really like it! I’m excited to see how it will end!
Here is quick copy/paste of what it’s about

“It’s a psychological horror miniseries centered on a couple heading into their wedding week at the groom’s secluded family home. What should be a joyful celebration slowly turns unsettling as strange events, family tension, and a growing sense of dread build.

The show blends relationship anxiety with eerie, supernatural vibes, exploring the fear of commitment and the question of whether you’re really with the right person.”

I think what I'm watching most this month are content creators on YouTube! LOL! I'm enjoying the channel from Tia Weston. She's a young lady who purchased a house for $1.... this house was used as storage for decades and didn't have electricity or plumbing. With the help of her dad, she completely cleaned out the house, ripped down all the plaster, replaced rotted wood from the home's structure, and rebuilt it all back up into her dream home. It was very satisfying to watch. She's a sweet young lady and she talks openly about what worked and what didn't. I've also been watching a second one where a very funny lady describes different episodes of the original Twilight Zone episodes with a modern sensibility... she cracks me up!

Now home stuff... I do that a lot. I absolutely adore Home Town. Can't think of their names right now, of course, but their from Laurel, what state? And they're fixing up home in their town. He's a carpenter, by trade and he makes the most gorgeous pieces of furniture out of old wood in almost every show. Oh man. She's an artist. I love her quirks. And I love their accent! Brings me home! I had a friend who went to Laurel just to see some of the homes they've done. I want to do that when I retire. I understand that they have a tour. Such fun. <3 Now, I'm geeky about that kinda stuff.

AND FOOD channel! I could watch DDD (and have) over and over and over. The hard part is when you're watching DDD and they're making something really wonderful and you're sitting at the dinner table eating...... hot dogs!:ROFLMAO:

We watch DDD all the time on Food Network. Only when we are already eating because if you are not ... you will be hungry and fast. Guy Fieri's American Kitchen & Bar near us recently closed; pretty bummed I never got to go there.

What I want to visit is a Walburgers .... we do have one about an hour away; guess it is also a good excuse to go it Ikea and then go out to eat ... lol !! I enjoyed the Walburgers reality show when it was on.

Home Town .............. LOVE THEM !!! Ben and Erin Napier from Laurel Mississippi. Some of the woodworking stuff he does is incredible .... and she surely has a unique artistic eye. And they have such a cute little family.

I definately need to go back through my watch list(s) and update what I want to watch ... I feel I need to step out of my comfort zone and watch something totally different. One can not rely on Disney movies and the Marvel universe forever. :ROFLMAO:

I am currently binging Tracker.

But I just binged David which was very good.
I binged Scarpetta but I had trouble getting into it though it got a lot better at the end. Not a fave though,

My main shows that I love is Reacher with Alan Ritchson, Will Trent, Cross, and not gonna lie but I love Briggerton and bought the books to read along with the Reacher and a few Will Trent one's too. I already own all the Cross books. I love Criminal Minds too even the Evolution. Waiting for it to come back on.

I've binged so many shows I can't remember them all. But this is where I'm at now.

I've started watching Grey's Anatomy. I never watched it before. But after watching one episode on Star Channel, I was drawn in. There are 22 seasons, so I know what I'll be watching for quite some time, haha.
Also love Bridgerton....watching season 4 now....5 episodes down, just a few more to go. And then, hoping there will be a season 5.

YES YOU ARE!!! I watched Grey's when it began... You're in TROUBLE!!!

I watched this over the past few days and really enjoyed it! Definitely not my usual sort of show, but it kept me entertained.

I'm also keeping up on The Pitt and loving it!

What I watch depends on what I'm doing. I work at home, and while working I need something kind of random that I don't have to pay attention to. For those times, lately I have on The Kardashians. I'll do different reality shows while I work mostly.

When I'm scrapping, designing, or just browsing online, I can watch something that demands a bit more attention. I love Love on the Spectrum (finished it). This month it has mostly been The Morning Show and The Last Thing He Told Me. I'm so ADHD though, and I like to start 5,000 shows at the same time, and sometimes I'll forget I was watching one until someone else mentions it.

I don't think I've watched any movies recently that I was obsessed with. I was working my way through the Oscar nominated movies. I watched Bugonia and Sinners. Bugonia was definitely interesting and I didn't expect the ending. Sinners was not my jam. I'm waiting for Marty Supreme to come out free on streaming now...

I keep getting clips on my social media platforms from the BBC show called "The Other Bennet Sister." Apparently, the mini series was a hit in the UK, and it will be released in the states in the coming weeks. Sadly, I don't subscribe to BritBox... so I need to see if there's another way I can watch it. It looks delightful.

Going to start the Pitt season 2
Want to finish "The Better sister" with Jessica Biel.
Finished the JFK,jr and Carolyn documentary. Whether it is true or not, I enjoyed it and think the JFK, jr, Carolyn and Anthony Radziwil, his best friend were played perfectly. The actresses who played his sister, mother and aunt ethel were insufferable!
Need to catch up on Tracker, Law and Order SVU, Blue Bloods
Love to binge on old Murder she Wrote.
I will probably never catch up in "Heartland". I stopped watching after Ty died. (a while back)
When Hope calls, When calls the Heart, Mistletoe murders-(series on Hallmark)

I have few new shows to recommend! :)
I binged Daisy Jones and the Six, it was really good! I totally recommend it!

I'm almost done with season 1 of a new show called Best Medicine. It is about a big time surgeon moving to the small town, that he spent the summers at when he was a kid, his aunt lives there. And just all the shenanigans of a small town. It's really sweet. There's fun little medical mysteries each week. It's very lighthearted and funny but also has some depth of emotion too. I'm really enjoying it!

Completely agree on Heartland although I got further than you did before I lost interest. Now I can't even remember where I left off, LOL, and can't remember WHERE to find it to stream?!? I think it's probably Netflix which is one of the very few services we don't have!

This was my review on FB, didnt realize there was a forum for these. I do a lot of reviews
Watched "Something bad is going to happen" on Netflix
WOW! it is really good, not gory but there is blood, very jump scary and made my heart beat faster the entire time.
Its a limited series and IT ISNT DUBBED OR FOREIGN
5/5 highly recommended viewing

Limited Series
"Someone has to know" on Netflix
Its about Julio Montoya who mysteriously disappeared in 1999 from a nightclub in Chile and has never been solved
Its made with bad foreign actors and badly dubbed. I did watch all the way through but its terrible.
0/5
Limited Series
"The Perfect Couple" Netflix
Stars Nicole Kidman -who was much better before the plastic surgery
I really liked this drama, lots of twists and turns, family at odds with each other, and secrets.
5/5

If you like British shows heres a few suggestions

Another show review
Blue Lights
This is an ongoing show that currently has 4 seasons available and season 5 will be out later ths year.
Its set in Belfast, while not all actors are Irish, most of them are and so you might need subtitles, altho I have to say the subtitle writer couldnt distinguish between Dana and Tina.
It follows a Police Unit of response officers and yes they are armed.
The subject matter is intense and gritty, it has humor and tears and you are drawn in immediately to the story line. The characters are great and work well together.
Notably starring Sian Brooke who also played Eurus in the Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock, She was actually born not far from where I grew up.
I loved it and can't wait til the next season, maybe by then Ill have stopped talking to dogs in an irish accent.
5/5
Also Irish "Hope Street" lighthearted and fun to watch. I enjoyed that too, along with Bodkin
Lots of great shows being Filmed in Ireland

Sorry for all the posts, was just catching up
I like limited series which I tend to binge on, altho I was watching greys, and caught up and now I guess the channel is now continuing but I did enjoy it.

Hidden Gems
Mr Mecedes - dark mystery, based on a stephen king novel - I loved it but it is a stephen king so...

Best medicine is the American version of a British show called Doc Martin, you might like that too I think it might be on tubi, or peacock as well as Prime

Keep the recommendations coming @Tamsin McAtee!!

I started season 2 of Beef on Netflix, I can't stop! LOL
I'm on episode 4. Trying to get work done while I watch too, but it is really catching my attention. It isssssss a Sunday, so I guess I could take the day off of work and just enjoy the show ;) ;)
I could even get out my iPad and scrap a little while I watch too... that sounds like a pretty good Sunday :)

Hubby decided that we needed to re-watch The Mandalorian tv series before the movie releases on 5/22. I'd forgotten a lot of the major plot points, so it was a wise decision. LOL. When I had the house to myself, I put on the Spring Baking Championship show as background noise. I just adore shows that challenge creative people, but who are also kind and supportive of each other (e.g. baking shows, Blown Away, Great Pottery Throwdown, etc.)
