I have been on an audio book kick lately! I listened to 2 space related books this week. I really enjoyed both of these!! Great narration and really compelling stories!
I'm excited to see the Project Hail Mary movie!
First Atmosphere.
Atmosphere is a 2025 historical fiction romance novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid, following Joan Goodwin, one of the first women training to be a NASA astronaut in the 1980s, as she navigates the challenges of a male-dominated field, discovers love, and finds her place in the universe. The book is praised as a thrilling, emotional story about ambition, sacrifice, and queer love, set against the backdrop of the Space Shuttle program.
And I'm about 1.5 hours from finishing Project Hail Mary
Project Hail Mary is a 2021 hard science fiction novel by Andy Weir about Ryland Grace, a middle school science teacher who wakes up on a spaceship with amnesia, millions of miles from Earth, with two dead crewmates. He must piece together his memories to solve a scientific mystery—a microorganism called Astrophage is draining the sun's energy, threatening humanity—and complete his last-chance mission to save Earth. The story is known for its accessible science, humor, and a surprising alien ally, making it a popular and critically acclaimed space adventure.
