Thanks so much for the great tutorial, I am new to PSE15 and wanted to ask please , i get as far as clicking on inverse then go to edit and for some reason Cut is not avaiable for me to select and when i click on it nothing happens. So basically its not cutting the paper border. I hope its ok to ask for you help. Thanks
 
It's absolutely okay to ask questions! The only reason I can think of that you wouldn't be able to "cut" is that you've got the wrong layer selected in the Layers panel. It might help me understand your problem if I had a screenshot of your computer. Sometimes it's easier to walk someone through an issue in real time... I'll be around for a couple of hours this evening if you're interested.
 
Thanks so much for the lovely reply. Please can i ask how do i show you , or do a screen shot and is it best if i pm you . Just wanted to add that after doing inverse im still on the paper layer that i am adding as a border. Thanks
