Rae, Congratulations on having your daughter moved back in. Hopefully her apartment is packed up soon. It must be nice.
Ella, her second choice is gorgeous. I can't imagine how beautiful her first choice must be. This will provide scrapping fodder for months when you get the wedding pictures. Congratlations
Dorann, So sorry your day is not going well. I hope you were able to catch your dogs!
Alane, I am still laughing about you scraplifting yourself.
It is pretty crazy here. I live fairly close to Los Angeles, in Orange County and the protests and riots are all around us. Not too much visible violence right where we live, but certainly protests. There is another large protest planned for Saturday from the shopping center next to us down the main road to our grocery store. We are planning on leaving before the protest starts and coming back after it is done. We will spend the day at my son's house.
We are slowly allowing more people into our circle. My friend, Pam and I have walked almost every day since the beginning of April. We have worn masks most of the time and stayed a resonable distance apart. We do between four and seven miles a day - occasionally as much as eight.
Next were my kids and my grandson. I started cuddling grandson earlier than anyone else. We spend most of our time quite distanced, but hug at the end. They are ultra careful because Nessa is a nurse and she goes overboard to make sure everyone is safe. Daughter's new boyfriend has been seen, but not hugged, just waved.
I had a very socially distanced tea and crumpets on the patio of a friend's house a few weeks ago. It was lovely and we spent most of our time masked, except when actually eating and drinking.
I went to Bible Study in person for the first time since early March. We had a crafting session before. It was fun and we social distanced, so it was nice.
I am trying to get in to see the doc. I have had a very bad sore throat on and off for some time (before COVID-19) and it has been particularly bad last night and today. It is the worst flare up I have had. I think I need them to look at it. They have done a strep test last time it happened and it came out negative.
I spent today catching up on my journaling. I am a little behind on Project 52, but I have my journal for most days. I just need to catch up on the scrapping. I have folders for every week, so today I sorted the pictures into each folder and I have the journaling, so maybe tomorrow I can plough through getting a bunch done. I would love that.
