What is something happy that is going on in you ladies' lives right now? I feel like literally all I can think about is covid and how we will deal with everything, so I would just like to focus on some other good things for today!!

For me, I'm feeling happy that my kids are all fine with staying home!

OK - If you are serious about the Zoom, it will be at 8:00am Pacific Tomorrow. Other time zones are in the chart below and underneath that is the zoom information. I will login about 15 min early in case people want to work out the snaffles.

I don't have zoom. I don't even know where to get it.

Well, I thought things were coming along fine here, but this morning I woke up itchy.....I had HIVES all over like I've never seen before. Called the doctor. She said come in immediately.
No fever, No breathing issues.
And we cannot figure out what caused this. No change of any: cleaning , normal household soaps, anything. All food the same. I don't garden. I did however walk M-Th 45 min outside. I'm on a steroid RX plus Claritan and Benydryl.

Take care all.

I will try to make it for the zoom meeting. We are gonna take use of the nearby greenway and give the dog a nice long walk tomorrow so it just depends what time I get home. I’m needing an escape away from the house even if it’s just to walk my dog! (He loves his greenway walks..!)

I'm going to try to get in on the zoom meetup in the morning. If I sleep in I will miss it but if up I'll join in. I downloaded the app onto my phone so should be able to get on with that.

Got my week 1 survivor page done and loaded into the gallery. I'm going to work on a few LOs tonight if I can stay up. I'm really tired today, probably reaction to stress (and eating some crappy food which I almost never do so my body is probably revolting lol). My daughter is sick, has a fever and sore throat so they suspect COVID-19. She is now quarantined at home for 2 wks so she isn't moving in before that time. I will go over and drop off meals/groceries as needed. She says she doesn't feel too bad but is sleeping a lot. She'll check in with me a few times a day so I know she's ok.

Looking forward to lounging around a lot over the wkend. I feel so drained I might even have a nap soon which I almost never do. Stay healthy everyone.

It is fine if folks make it and fine if you don't :) No worries. I would love to see you if you can.

Well, my 2nd son is home from 2 years away, so that is good news! We have what we need, except rice, but we will make do. I'm about as happy as I can be for the circumstances out there. And I am done with my week 1 Survivor layout, yippee! It was tough, but I am pleased with the result. I enjoy the small, simple things in life, because what is there if I don't? :D

It is quite amazing to me that when we are at a loss for most of the things that we take for granted the little things start to mean a lot more.
I got my letter in the mail today about unemployment and it looks like it is going to be enough to keep me going so that is a good thing. I do still worry about child support and that kind of stuff, but I am going to be able to make it through this and that is what I was the most worried about.

Michi,

If you have a computer with a camera, just use the link in a browser. Actually, even if you don't have a camera, you can still join by audio with the phone numbers listed. If you would like to. We don't do this normally, so there is no need now, but some were expressing that they were feeling down a big and I though this would cheer folks up.

Good morning. I DL to the ipad last night...but slept until 10 am this morning. The itchys are still present, at least I slept. I just now tried a DL to the computer using windows PC. I don't have a camera.
I will try to connect another time.

Son in law said grandson's 2nd grade class tried a zoom gathering yesterday. They could see and he was happy to see his teachers and friends, but they had issues. Too bad son in law could not assist the teachers.

It was so much fun on Zoom meeting Rae, LilyAnn, Carla and Katherine today and chatting about how well we are doing, what we have been up to, what we do with our days and just getting to know each other better. We are going to do it again :)

We had a really nice time today. I think it is new technology and different and there are always glitches at first. It was nice meeting each other and finding some closeness in this time of unrest.

I am glad you got some sleep and I hope your itchies clear up soon. Sleep is a great healer and I will do a Zoom call again :)

WooHoo Katherine! That's wonderful! Congrats.

That's a great reminder, Kelley! I'm happy that I have a job, that's still paying me, and I can work from home.

Michi, I hope everything is okay. Take care love.

Saying extra prayers for your daughter, Rae. I'm so sorry. Isolation would drive me batty and, as hubby would say, that's not a far drive.

Glad you have another child home, Ane!

I'm happy that you have enough, Dorann. That is all we "need", right? We have to find joy in the little things now.

So fun to see Rae, Katherine, LilyAnn and Lynnie on the Zoom chat. THANKS for the chart and link, Lynnie!

Stay safe. Stay healthy. Wash your hands. God Bless.

The Zoom chat was wonderful. Met people I've never met before, Linnie and Rea. Met someone I've known for years for the first time, Carla. And met with Katharine whom I've met on a scrapping retreat a number of years ago.
Hope to do that again soon!

Had fun today and sorry needed to leave. My grandson needs a scope performed and may need to go home to have it done but at this time it can't be done in Washington, at least we don't think, because unless it is am emergency it is elective surgery. We are still waiting to see what can be done.

We had you for quite a while, Katherine - It was lovely to chat. I felt really uplifted by our time together this morning.

Sorry I missed the chat, looking forward to next time. Sounds like ya'll had fun though! My Dad and I took our dog on an 1 1/2 walk on the greenway by our house. It was sooo nice to get outside and everybody else on the greenway was doing really well with keeping distance. It was a popular place today, lots of dogs! Tigger is scared to death of other dogs but has gotten better at ignoring them, he used to dive between my Dads legs anytime another dog passed....

I think I did a multi quote! Here's hoping.

my sleep in went well.
I did the DL of a zoom to the ipad.
I tried one on the desktop...for windows. I don't have a camera.

My daughter says, I need a invitation link and then I can participate. I said a bit nervous about trying it.
Grandson [age 7] says...just click ok grandma.
Granddaughter [age 4] says...Grandma I read a Frozen 2 ghost book in the closet with a flashlight and I wasn't scared.

There is hope for Grandma.

Well, it was a pretty busy day for me today. I am still doing the Door Dash thing since delivery food is such a big thing right now. I am keeping sanitizer in the car and since they have defaulted to contactless delivery there is little risk. It gets me out of the house and gives me something to do. It will still be a week before I get my first unemployment check so the money that I've been making this week is going to pay our rent.

Other than that, son was here last night so he could play on the moped, dirt bike, etc. He tried to teach me to play x-box but it didn't go to well. I pretty much stink.

Haha. The link was in the thread and will work just fine. No worries. One of these days.

Michi, I have allergies and I sometimes get hives for no reason...could be seasonal or stress can often cause your body to react differently. I take Reactine year round and a steroid RX for flare ups. Hope you are feeling better. Your gandkiddos sound like they are having an adventure (nice to see them adapting to the situation).

Lynnie, Missed the Zoom yesterday, sounds like those who joind in loved it! If you have it again perhaps it will work out to join in. Thanks for setting this up!

Rae, So sorry to hear about your daughter. Wishing her a speedy recovery! I fear that my kids or hubby will get it the most!

Ane, so happy you son is home...a sigh of relief!

Dorann, So happy that your unemployment benefits and very glad to see it will help ease the strain. My job is considered critical so I am still working but on a rotation for now so lucky to still have funds coming in. Good luck with the Door Dash, it is popular these days.

Katherine, I hope your grandson gets the scope he needs, it couldn't come at a worse time!

Elynnia, Nice to see you got out for some fresh air...the pups are suffering too. Our neighbors dog whines at the fence by our door waiting for us to come visit her. She is a 8 month of St. Bernard and so adorable!

On a bright note...Survisor Challenge has taken my mind off things for awhile and I got my LO done. Good luck everyone!

Have a grand Sunday.

Good morning to all!
I attended Mass online this morning with Priests from my Parish. It was very nice. I am meeting up with a lady [I've known for 7 years via church and pre-school ] to donate masks I have made for St. Joseph's hospital here in Tampa. She's night shift ER. The same hospital my daughter works but Megan is in children's division.
I'm hoping to photo the masks, and I hope she will send a picture of some in use..

Today is day 14 of the Mr. and I being home, since our last outing at baseball 2 weeks ago.

Karen- you might be correct on the allergies and the stress. I took a brief last evening about 10 min. Started to itch again. Most definitely I have concerns for my girls plus all in healthcare.

Good morning ladies. I really enjoyed the zoom chat yesterday. So nice to see and hear everyone. My ribs were hurting (I bruised them a few days ago) so got into my chair with a heating pad and spent the day binge watching shows. We watched the current season of Sinners. Then we started the last season of Magicians. Got out for a walk with Taz in the afternoon. I can’t remember the last time I lounged around like that. Today I’ll do some chores and scrapping. Might do a bit of reading too. Another quiet day.

Aw, I'm glad you ladies had fun on Zoom! I've never used Zoom, so I'm not sure how, but hopefully I'll be able to participate next time!

I'm so relieved to have finished my layout. it's the first layout I've done since the covid craziness around here. I feel like it got my creative juices flowing, so I think I'm going to scrap some more today as I don't really have any plans. Everyone has had such beautiful layouts for Survivor, and I'm going to spend some time going through them all today!

Dorann - the Door Dash thing sounds kind of fun! If I had a vehicle during the days, I would maybe try that out! I'm glad you have that, and that it is contactless now!

Well, It's been an interesting day. We were up past midnight last night, till we were sure the severe storms were out of Nashville.. There was one before Nashville but it didn't last and I don't think it did damage. (This was the line that hit Arkansas Saturday and did significant damage.) Then slept through the questionable tornado (Weather service out there today to decide if it was a tornado or not) hit the city where our lakehouse is. The marina is heavily torn up, but luckily the boats all escaped the damage.. The walkways/bridges to the marina were torn up and thrown off to the side. The cameras at our property aren't working after the storms so we have no idea if we have damage or just no power.. Heading out there next weekend so our neighbor is gonna go scope out things tomorrow and see what is going on. I am so ready for bed!

I’m so sorry I missed the zoom, although one today that I did was my first one ever. Kid had to set it up all me, then my face was on the name alexis. Lol. It’s kind of neat to talk to others around the world that way.

Austin got a loan of a chromebook Friday after school so fingers are crossed that helps him with doing his work.
Alexis next project is to make a DNA sequence strand for biology 30, we couldn’t run out to buy things for her to use, so amazon to the rescue. Hope it works.

I got my survivor page done, then realized I had to go in and edit my credits. Then later tonight while I was posting my layout on fb I realized my links were not working. So I went in and edited the links so they would work, then realized it was 12:10 am my time, way over the deadline, so I think I got myself eliminated. Hope not. The page was there l last night.
