I definately need to exercise more (and stop snacking at night staying up late and watching TV). I was supposed to do a virtual exercise class yesterday but since I was sick I cancelled it. I am hoping I can get into it next week.
I am kind of "limited" as to what I can do since I am still recovering from a double mastectomy. I have full range of motion in my right are but my left arm doesn't. My surgeon took off something suspicious (which turned out to be nothing), but where the muscle was sewn back together under my left arm I can't raise my arm up over my head. And I am still having pain if I try and bend to touch my toes. So I am not pushing myself. Oh, and having neuropathy (a left over gift from chemo) makes it tough to do much. I am getting better though, it just is going to take time.
I took some of the stretching exercises I was taught in a post cancer treatment support group and modified them to be done in my chair. So that is helping at least get some kind of exercise in daily. Even if it is stretching while waiting for my morning coffee to brew. It all counts.
