We are now half way through the year. I hope you are all enjoying these Slow Scraps and I am sure the random winners are enjoying their gift certificates I am giving away.
Please be aware that I am a scrapper who does not use many flowers on my layouts. When I started scrapbooking with paper I never used to go overboard with embellishments and that has carried through to my digital scrapbooking. This is why on the last day of each Slow Scrap I do state that you are welcome to add anything else you desire to.
Now here we go for this month - remember if you want to see the upcoming instructions just click on them. I will reveal them each week for those who like to only complete each week's task.
Week 1 :
Choose one photo to use. Find a kit which includes a stamp/paint ( if possible)
Place a patterned paper on your layout.
Place 2 strips of solid paper/cardstock one narrower than the other towards
the top of the layout.
Week 2:
Add a rectangle of light plain paper to the right over the lower strip.
Add rectangle of plain paper overlapping the other paper piece to the
top left of layout. Then place photo over this. You can mat the photo or
adda stroke edge.
Week 3:
Add stamp/paint to right of plain paper ( see mine)
Add ribbon or ric rac to this.
Add leaves to lover right edge of photo.
Week 4:
Add flowers and string or bow over the leaves
Add title and journaling ( if you want to do this)
Add more flowers or elements to compliment your photo.
Add anything else to make the page YOURS!
Now you have until the end of the month to complete your layouts to be eligible for the random draw of one $5 Gift Certificate.
Remember to use the "Attach files" to share your steps and only use the gallery once your layout is fully completed.
I am enjoying using different store Collabs for my layout and this month I have used an Alpha from Back to the Classroom by Gingerbread Ladies and paper etc from Joyful June by Gingerbread Ladies
