2. choose "inline spoiler," and start typing your text. To me it shows up like a mask icon, but as well can show like an eye with a line through it.

As all of you know, in this thread we can discuss anything about the current book. Please feel free to share your thoughts while you are reading or whenever you want, or as you progress in your reading, it's up to you, this thread is yours, so express all what you think about the book and reading. You can write parts of the text you're reading, and that you think are important to understand the plot, comment on what you think of all what you have reading so far, whether the author is easy or difficult to understand and follow?, how the plot and characters develop to your mind?, and if there's a quote you'd like to share, please do it.

Once again welcome, I hope several of you will choose to join us!

I read this book some months ago and I really enjoyed, I liked the way the author developed the characters, but also the characters' internal dialogues, for example, when Mad starts out thinking that strange people arrive at a certain time of day, and she even begins to wonder in her own voice if she herself might be one of those strange people, the way the characters interacted with each other felt so natural, and I liked it. I was intrigued to learn about their father, since he apparently suffered from some kind of personality disorder that forced him to invent a new personality every time he left his family behind. I really liked that all the siblings decided to stay in contact with each other, including the youngest who was not a biological sibling. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, it was a good read

I read this back in February and enjoyed it. Possibly give it 4 out of 5 stars. For me to give any book 5 stars it would have to be very outstanding.
The author kept me interested all the way through. The personalities of the characters were well developed. I really enjoyed how the siblings all got along so well as time went on. It was nice how Mad ( the character I think I liked the most) still included Tom as part of her family at the end, even though he really was not her brother. I liked how Ruben ended up staying to help his father. If it were a true story, I think over time he would have become very close to his father. If a true story my hope was that now Mad had a family other than just her mother, her future would bring about a man into her life.

I totally agree with your comment dear Anne-Marie

Just finished this one yesterday. It was a quick read! Once I started it I really wanted to see where the story went so I listened to it in 3 days :)

I really enjoyed it! :) I agree with both of your reviews above <3
