You are too funny. It is not that hot. This is nothing compared to NC and MN hot. Not even close. It's perfect. I love it. This is the first it has been summer warm since we have made it. Otherwise, the temp sits between 67 and 72. I think today it was almost 80. It was nice. Love it! :) Is it quite a bit warmer in LA?

in sacramento, its supposed to be 106 this friday.. its nothing like vegas though.. the day we moved there it was the beginning of june and it was 116 outside!! imagine, pregnant, don't know anyone, had no help moving and no electricity!! o.0!!
 
It's suppoed to be 100+ today... Boooo weather... I'm wishing for fall now....

And i wasn't able to run outside this pm... Sigh... I'm here stuck in my cave...
 
Ok - you can complain. ;) That is quite a bit warmer then down here.

On temps: yesterday was day #23 for 2012 that we hit 100F or higher. :(

Your coastal, so your not allowed to comment on the weather! I'm only 30 minutes up a "mountain" from the beach and it was 95+ here yesterday and it's gonna be 97 today and humid today! I don't mind the heat but I hate the humidity!!!
 
I don't even understand why it is so much cooler for me living on the coast. When I lived right by the coast in NC it was just as hot and humid as everywhere else in the state.

I thinks it's because the east coast is flat, where as Cali has all those mountains. The cool air gets stuck on the beach side so you stay nice and the hot air gets stuck on the other side of the mountains and we roast.

Well said, Lisa! I am roasting right now... psheeeewww

I'm just glad I don't live in Death Valley! hahaha we went there in Spring and it was snowing up at the mountains...when we got to the valley it was uber hot..... three days later, we got back to the top to leave...and the snow was all gone!! LOL

Just so ya know, Topeka has been, actually, consistently hotter than Death Valley this summer :O
By a good sized margin :O
Insanity this summer has been!
 
As many of you know I just spent 4 days on a trip to Orlando with our high school band. A 15 hour drive to Orlando, a day at Universal Studios (the band marched in the Macy's holiday Parade) and a day at Islands of Adventure which ended with dinner at Hard Rock Cafe with our very own Lead cookie Lydia:

(Remember THIS was after a full day at the park for me, I was looking pretty rough, sorry!!) But I know you are all jealous!! And then a 15 hour drive back. All in all a great trip!!
 
Oh that's awesome, glad you could fit a meet 'n greet into that crazy schedule Missi!

SoCal ladies - we really need to plan something!

Well.... I decided to take a break from coaching Bible Quiz. It took a lot of time and the kids didn't like me going on so many trips. So I probably won't be in Texas this year. :(

How fun! colleen and I just got to see each other again - but between a sick kid and chaos we didnt get a pic of just the two of us! :( BOO!
 
I knew I could meet up, but it all depended on Lydia. She had to come to me since they made it clear I could not use the bus to go to her!! :)

missi...i'm going to be in nashville again friday. i think near the green rivers mall but i'll find out exactly where...i know i'm trying to find a sephora store as well...maybe we can meet for a late lunch? :)

and yes i'm jealous u got to meet lydia!!!!!!
 
Jacque, I can see what I can do. My dd is getting wisdom teeth out that day, so it may be hard for me to get into Nashville. BUT, it looks like we have a Sephora here in Cool Springs Galleria Mall (In JCP), Cool Springs Galleria, 1780 Galleria Blvd, Franklin, TN 37067-2623 and that would be closer to my house and I can get away then!

Keep me posted! Hopefully we can work it out! I will pm you my cell number.
