Just wondering

what type of Camera you use or what do you recommend? I haven't bought a new camera for a long time, I am looking at someting mid range in money and smaller. any suggestions? THanks!

I use a Cannon Rebel T3, but am itching to get a T6. The only thing keeping me from getting it is the cost. I'm not able to swing that kind of money right now.

I aspire to be someone who knows cameras - how to use them and the lingo. My best photography comes from my iphone. Id love to know what you chose though.

I've always used Canon cameras, ever since I took photography as my electives in grade 10 and grade 12 back in high school. I'm thinking about getting a mirrorless digital camera, so I may change brands (looking at Sony or Olympus). Currently have a Canon PowerShot SX710 HS that I got on sale.

I'm a Canon girl also - since way back to the days when I had a dark room in my basement growing up and we developed our own negatives and prints! I have the Rebel T3 with a few lenses and love it.

Canon power shot I have been looking at. you do like it? I want some easy. I have the big and fancy Nikon cool pix and it is so hard to get great pictures of "moving grand kids". it does beautiful otherwise, but it is big and I want something a little smaller.

Right now I have 2 cameras in dire need of replacement. I have a Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS and a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10.
About 20 years ago I had aspirations of becoming a photographer, and I had a very high-end SLR camera with about 100 lenses (including special effects lenses to do things that you can now do with photoshop lol), but my ex pawned it all :( So I can't wait to be able to get a DSLR, just have to wait until the house stops deciding it needs things done to it LOL

I grew up using a camera that came out of a Sears and Roebucks catalog it was that old. The lenses were changeable if you had the tiny screwdriver and didn't loose the screws. I was so grateful when digital came out. I am the queen of the shutter. I can take (and have recently) take over 2,000 pictures in one day. My first NASCAR weekend I took over 10,000.

I've been a Canon thru a 35mm my brother got during one of his tours of duty in Vietnam late 60's and 2 of my own, Now inn second Canon digital, EOS 7d, with 3 high speed lenses, still love it

I am still debating it. I am horrible at decisions that involve cash!! LOL I will let you know what I decide!

I love my Canon PowerShot SX530 HS. It's a glorified point & shoot that I think takes wonderful pictures. It's a little bigger than the normal P&S, and I thought that would be a problem when I first got it. I miss the fact that I cannot just drop it into my purse like I could with my last camera. It came with a nice strap, so I wear it around my neck now I look like a tourist where ever I go.
It has wi-fi when you download an app and sync it up to your smart phone.

I love my Nikon DSLR. I pretty much just use it as a point and shoot but its excellent quality and different settings than just any point and shoot of course.

I love my Nikon. I recently took it off the green auto setting and started playing with the shutter and all that fun stuff. I figured out how to get fantastic indoor basketball pictures and outdoor soccer pictures of my teen. I wrote down the settings for each and tucked it in the bag so when I go to those events I can just pull it out and go. My google pixel phone is my every day camera and often I get better pictures on that than I do on my Nikon for normal things. It is the action shots that the Nikon has over my pixel. :)

I have a panasonic p/s camera - got from costco - from what i see phones these days take much better pics - only nice thing is it has a big zoom which i do use a lot.

action pics - once in a while get lucky and get a good photo.

I have a Nikon D300 with two lenses. I find myself though taking more everyday pictures with my iphone because the camera is so large. But for special events I will use both.
