All challenges layouts must have at least 80% of GS products - Daily Download and Welcome wagon counts.

I have always wanted to try my hand at making soap... this past year I finally gathered what I needed and set my goals to make some scented bars for gifts.. I used essential oils like jasmine & pine, color dyes, dried jasmine buds & pine needles, used Shea Butter and glycerin soap bases, and got it under way. Using silicon molds I made about 30 different scented bars with different dried flowers and herbs, it was such fun!
Thanks to @thescrappykat for the inspiration... I used @AimeeH Photogenic template and @AimeeH Cozy Charm kit. Title font is Bubble, text font is Courier New; product images are from my soap making purchases; soap images are mine

I saw one online and knew I needed to created something new and then I just couldn't stop making the quilted bows. I made them for all the mothers and Grandmothers as well as all of Dad's sisters. And best part - they are reversible, so good for two seasons!

Here is my something new.

Journaling:

My cousin gave me this mini-scene kit for Christmas & I debated whether to try to put it together or not. Finally, I decided to give it a go.

It took an awful lot of patience, which I lack these days, and time. It was my first attempt at such a thing & pretty much my last.

While I appreciate the gift, I think it is better suited for younger people. People with better eyes, steadier hands & a heck of a lot more patience than I have.

Any old hoot, this is the final product. It doesn’t look too bad, but sadly the lights don’t work. Oh well, it is what it is. Because I sure the heck am not taking it apart to try to fix the issue.

It will have to sit on the bookcase just like this & anyone who makes a comment will get a knuckle sandwich from yours truly. Ha....
