January Photography Challenge - Shadows

Welcome to January's Photography Challenge - SHADOWS

These type of photos are so popular now. But I still love the unique way that they capture a moment in your life in a fun way. I love too how the winter shadows (long) add some extra detail to the scene. So my challenge for January is for you to take and then scrap a photo containing a shadow. In my example I have taken a 'from where I stand' approach. But your shadow can be any type of shadow and does not have to include people.

1) Your page MUST clearly fit the theme of this photography challenge.
2) Be creative and have fun! Layout must use 80% Products from Gingerscraps designers.
3) Post your layouts here in this thread with a link to your layout in the gallery.
4) Pages must be posted by January 31st, 2026 11:59 pm CST
5) Your layout must be new and created for this challenge
 
I took this a little less literally, I guess you could say. These are photos from the 90s, taken in a basement at night. I had to use Photoshop Elements to adjust the shadows in most of these images so the people could be seen at all. I also did some black and white effects, which really bring out the shadows in those pics, I think.

I used Gingerbread Ladies kit Ready for Winter
I took some photos of flowers left here while I was gone on Christmas Eve. There were still beautiful today and I got the shadow on the wall while taking the photos
