A new year and time to both reflect on the past and plan for the future.

I am featuring my new January Buffet collection: REFLECTION. Individual pieces of the collection are on sale through Jan 5th, 50% off; the bundle is 50% off for the entire month.

Page Creation Prompt(s):
  • Scrap a page about: reflection, solitude, quietude, contemplation, meditation, or stillness.
For this challenge create a page using any of the the scrapbooking prompt(s) above, suggested by the featured collection. You may use any GingerScraps designers' kits.

BONUS COUPONS: (These are not "stacking" coupons, you will earn only one.)
  • All participants, regardless of GS designer used, will receive a $2 coupon to be used on orders of $7 or more in my store.
  • All participants who use an ADB Designs kit/collection will receive a $4 coupon to be used on orders of $7 or more, in my store.
  • All participants who use the ADB Designs featured kit/collection: REFLECTION, will be entered into a drawing for an opportunity to win a $10 coupon to my store.
  • Freebies/gifts may be used in layouts, but those layouts are excluded from consideration for coupons.

just checking, the bundle Reflections is supposed to be 50% off the entire month correct? In the store it has returned to full price.
 
I'm needing stillness in my life right now and ADB Design kit Reflection was perfect with the cluster of the cabin in the woods.

We're reflecting on our 50 years together, especially this year.

Journaling:
Going into the new year my focus has been on nohting but refelcting on the past and what I lost due to cancer, but also refelecting on what I have gained. I can finally plan and live my life without feeling stuck. And now that I also just received my bachelor's degree comes the reflection on into what I want to do with that education and how I plan on making a difference in the world. I feel it is necessary to give back for the kindness I received over the last three years when my life was essentially put on hold. I was so blessed to ahve been taken care of by so many incredible individuals.

Now comes the task of naviagting the future while always wondering will the cancer come back. Also I reflect on who I used to be. I am not the same person on the inside or the outside. The reflection in the mirror is different. The way I see the world is different in so many ways. I don’t take for granted the litle joys in life because they are things that I missed out on. What I am learning to do is put me first for once in my life. I am learning to give myself some quiet moments and self care time to take care of me. And I am learning to not feel quilty about it either. This is my life to live and I am not taking that for granted. Life is too short to sit there and let it pass you by because of fear.
