The journaling reads: As a part of the Project 365 I am tasked with taking at least one photo a day. Today I stopped and took pictures of the sun rising above the fog at a park. It reminded me of all the moments I have captured over the years.

WOOOOOOWWWW! Great job Cristy! Girl, you are on a roll! I can't keep up with you, you are knocking those kits out. So happy for you!

Em, I got three more layouts done but they were using kits I already used so they didn't knock out a kit.

Here is Layout #22

Yes I know the flags in his hands are touching the ground but what you can't tell in the picture is that he is crying. The grave he is at was of a boy that died at his age (just shy of 12) back at the turn of the century. The grave was over covered in dried grass clippings and dirt. He felt so bad for this little boy who had no one left to mourn him. So he was cleaning the headstone off. He goes back three times a year to visit that grave site. On the boys birthday, when they put the flags out and in the fall when school starts.

The Journaling: Built around 1650, Hale o Keawe served as a temple and mausoleum for the remains of Pu’uhonua o Honaunau’s 23 chiefs. According to ancient Hawaiians, the bones of the deceased chiefs held mana (great spirtual power), and burying the chiefs’ bones at Hale o Keawe would protect the village, especially the Pu’uhonua or City of Refuge. The ancient Hawaiians built the temple at the entrance of the Pu’uhonua. They believed that placing Ho’okupu (offerings) on the stone structure’s lele (tower) would allow them to make personal requests for their own salvation.

Layout #25 only 82 to go. I seen all the awesome layouts in the gallery that used the circle template. I don't know how to get the templates to work but I tried to reproduce it here.

I used Sailing Away from Magical Scraps Galore

Journaling reads: While on a cruise ship full of people, things to do in late November early December, it was easy for people to miss the best part of the cruise. The view from up on deck. while at sea and in port.
Every day I made an effort to get out on deck at least five times to photograph the view. Early morning alwasy offered me a stunning view of the sun as it struggled to break through the constant clouds.
The evenings always offered me a setting sun. As the sun slipped behind clouds or below the horizon I was awestruck by Gods beauty.

I Used Ocean World by Magical Scraps Galore

Yes these are my photos and not ones I snagged off line (I have been accused by a friend of snagging them). Benson is my favorite thing to photograph at Sea Life Aquarium. I took well over 300 pictures trying to get the best ones of him that day. I've done the same thing every time we've gone up there (another 6 times) but they are just from the first time up there. I love turtles.

The journaling is: Benson, a rescued, non-releasable green sea turtle has officially taken up residence in the 120,000-gallon ocean tank inside SEA LIFE Michigan, Benson was stranded in 2014 at Anastasia State Park in St. Johns County, Fla., after being hit by a boat, which caused a caudal carapace (shell) fracture and induced a hypothermic reaction called cold-stunning. Benson was rescued by the doctors at the Georgia Sea Turtle Hospital in Jekyll Island, Ga., who have spent the last year nursing him back to health. While Benson is much healthier and stronger now, due to his injuries he will never be able to survive in the wild.

Layout #27 (only 80 to go).

This is the left page of a two page layout, but for the privacy of the other youth pictured I am only sharing this side here.
My son is a part of Order of the Arrow and was asked to be a part of the Ceremony team for a young man's Eagle Court of Honor. He portrayed the Spirit of the East Wind.

The journaling reads:I am the spirit of the East Wind. I represent the common law, your duty to God and to country. Trustworty, Loyal, and helpful, are the qualities that a man must possess who lives by the laws of this land. See that you do not lose the great blessing of a lawful land.

Those were the first lines he had.

Journaling Reads: On the last day at sea mom and I were sitting in the buffet dining room. We were talking about how I was looking forward to going home the next day. Mom said she wasn't looking forward to going home to an empty house. As if by magic a rainbow showed up just outside the window. I knew it was Dad telling Mom she wasn't going to be alone

Last week we took my youngest son (the pictured) to what was his 2nd second concert (first was the Air Force Band of Flight). We went to see Love you to death performed by the Dearborn Symphony Orchestra. It was a the music of four different composers Romeo and Juliet. My 16 year old loved it and so did his parents.

It has been a long and very busy past week. Between scouting, tennis 5 days instead of 2, the weather related clean up and dealing with my mom's lack of power and sewer problems, I've not gotten a bunch of scrapping done.
So I decided to scrap today while watching the NASCAR race. And here is the results. This is only a few of the quilts I have. All hand made for me or my husband, The red, white and black one in the one picture I made for my husband for one of our anniversaries.
