I live in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa & am wife to the best husband in the world, mum to two lovely daughters, have 2 great sons-in-law & am gran to 6 wonderful grandchildren.
I have been digital scrapping for about 16 years, and designing for about 10. My digital scrapping started (back in the day!!) when I wanted to document our elder daughters wedding. I am now kept very busy with 2 families photos and our own love of travel.
I joined Gingerscraps some few months back and am so thrilled to find a new scrapping home after DSP closed, fantastic to see a number of old friends here.
Now I am also happy to be able to get back to completing a travel album I am busy with - didn't start 2018 well by breaking my collar bone. Amazing how one needs BOTH hands to create a page :)

Meryl, my joy in Gingerscraps would be complete if this became your home. I do love it here, and I use your products on a lot of my layouts, but I like to support the site, since I don't want a repeat of DSP ever to happen to my digital home again. My joy would REALLY be complete if you became a designer here, you and Z!! Of course if Lauren ever became a designer again....her too! Anyway, I would be in heaven.

In the meantime, having you comment on a layout of mine thrills me no end!
 
Hi Meryl and Welcome to GingerScraps. I second Lynnie above in that I hope you make GS your new digi home. It's tough to switch. I do remember you from the 'way back when'. :)

Welcome to Gingerscraps Meryl! Yes, yes! I agree... Wishing you make GS your new digi home. I took the plunge in 2012 and have loved every second of being here since. Your pages are fantastic and your trips are amazing! Hope you feel better and glad you are back at scrapping again! xoxo...
