Hello again! Excited to be here

Hi,
I am not really brand new to Gingierscraps, but it has been a while. I am actually doing a guest designer spot for March and thought it appropriate to just say HI.

My name is Angie and I am the designer behind Down This Road Designs. I am thrilled to be able to join the amazing team here at Gingerscraps for the month. Everyone has been so friendly and just wonderful.

I am 45 live in Utah with my husband, daughter (16) and our dog Charlie. I have an "adult" son who is 19 and lives on campus about 1 hour and a half away from where we live. We are approaching our time of having an empty nest and it is a struggle most days.

I work full time for a local pediatrics practice doing billing.

I have been designing since 2009 a a few different places and retired for about 2 years when I went back to work full time and did not have a lot of time to commit to it. I missed it so much. So, a few years ago....I started back up and have been loving it ever since.

I am excited to be here again and I hope to be able to reconnect with many and get to know many more.

Welcome to GS!

I am also approaching "empty nest" syndrome soon with my youngest finishing University and moving out (probably out of province) but I am happy to see he is pursuing his dream and helping so many with his work in rehab.

I had the pleasure of looking through your store and your kits are lovely!

Hi Angie! So happy you are here again, your kits are super cute! We are similar... I have a 19yr son away at college and a 15yr daughter, as well as a 12yr son :) I hear ya with the empty nest syndrome. The kids are always so busy doing their own thing with sports and school activities. Hubs and I end up staring at each other, haha...

Glad to have you here, I was looking at your designs and they are lovely, will be adding to my stash soon... hope you have a great time here...

Welcome!! So excited to see you're here full-time!! My son is 22 but it's so expensive to live here in BC that I think I'll have to move out before my son does. I almost sometimes kind of wish I had empty nest because this living with a man-child - well that wasn't covered in the parenting books ;-)

Looking forward to your designs! I hear ya on the empty nest thing . . . once you get past the weird, guilty feelings of taking pleasure in the time you now have . . . IT ROCKS! LOL
