Hello Everyone :)

Welcome To February's Photography Challenge - MY CHILDHOOD

I have recently been sorting through my old photos. And I thought that it might be nice to reflect on days gone by in this month's challenge. Things are so heavy in our world right now. So let's travel back in time to when we were little and life seemed simpler. So I would like you to scrap a photo of yourself as a child. But as this is a photography challenge, if your prefer, you can photograph something/somewhere that reminds you of your childhood or an item that you still have from your childhood. The choice is yours. Use an old photo or snap a new one.
My photo is of me with my family in 1969. I love that it's a real snapshot of the times, even though I look a little serious lol. I made the layout using my own Way Back When Kit.

I love this! I have a lot of photos that would fit this Challenge. Might take me a minute to choose one or two!
 
I used the kit Life Chronicled: Storyteller by Connie Prince
One of the coins was my father's that was in a case on his dresser that I now have. The case got destroyed but I still have the coin. I don't want to loss it. The other is we always had half dollars and dollars when I was a child that we carried around. Sometimes I wish I had kept them all.

Thankyou for this challenge. I am so pleased I had scanned a lot of older photos and saved them on EHDs. These were photos that were in my mother's albums that I had passed onto my sister not long before I lost all photos when our home was flooded nearly 4 years ago. Also pleased the flood water did not destroy my EHDs.

I was probably 5 or 6 for my first dance recital! I must say I did not look thrilled
to be participating.. I am 3rd from the left ...
Thanks to @KarenJB for the inspiration...I used @Lisa Rosa Christmas Without You and Hello Love minikits, title font is Hey Love, I used a Henna style on the title, frame and stars
 
Great challenge ! It gave me a reason to scrap this picutre of me and my Dad. He passed when I was 12 years old. I have supressed a lot of memories about him but I remember this one in detail as if it happened yesterday. He was helping me wih math homework.
