February 2026 Inspiration Challenge with Carol

I am so happy that I will be hosting this year's Inspiration Challenge and I hope you will have a wonderful year!!

Let's get started on this month's challenge!

This month I hope the theme is - “Life is like a camera",

Life is like a camera, which captures every little thing in our lives, every moment.
These small moments often become part of our precious memories in the future.
Every little moment, every little instant is worthy of being recorded!

I hope this picture can give you some inspiration：

Here are a few things about how I run this challenge.

  1. This year, you need to use at least 80% Gingerscraps products in your layout. The products you use need to be from current GS designers. (they can be retired products but the designer still needs to be active in the shop) .
  2. Also for this challenge, if you use at least 50% CarolW Designs products, you will be entered into a drawing for a $5 coupon. To qualify for the drawing, you need to mention what CarolW Designs products you used, here when you post the layout.
  3. Everyone who does all parts of the challenge, posts their layouts here AND in the challenge gallery, AND gives a short explanation, will be sent a small participation gift, by the 5th of the following month.
  4. Please share your layout in the Inspiration Challenge from Carol and in a reply to this thread by 11:59pm EDT on 2.28.2026.
  5. IMPORTANT- I take the time to come to this thread and comment on every layout. This is where I check to see your layouts and read your comments. So I need you to put your notes about your layout here in this thread when you post your layout. Thank you!
  6. Have Fun~ Remember if you use CarolW Designs Products, I will add your name to the Wheel of Names to spin at the end of the month for a $5 coupon to my store.

Life is like a camera, what you get out of it depends on what you focus on. Go ahead and take a shot, you might find something wonderful. I would expound on that somewhat, in that taking pictures is a lot like losing weight. Sometimes you just need a little curve adjustment!!!!

I used the Memories of the Seasons - December Template (https://store.gingerscraps.net/-Memories-Of-The-Seasons-December-Template.html) and the Sounds of Snow Falling Collection (https://store.gingerscraps.net/Sound-Of-Snow-Falling-Collection.html) both by CarolW.
