Journaling:
I am so ready for al the new adventures I will get to have now that I have survived a 3 year batle with breast cancer. The only places I have been is the Oncology Clinic, other doctors appointments and the occasional trip to the grocery store. Haven’t has many adventures lately because the recovery from chemo, radiation, two surgeries, and a lot of wound healing partnered with an insane amount of chronic pain. Some days I’m good and can ge around and other days I don’t want to move. I am almost done with my B12 injections so hopefully that worked and I wil be feling back to normal.
Next year we are planning to go on vacation to Disneyworld in Orlando. Our last trip was 2016, so we are way over due. We used to go every other year and it was so nice. After everything I went through and finishing school for my bachelors degree; I deserve a vacation.
It was hard when I was battling cancer to watch everyone else post on Facebook going on vacation and having fun while my life was literally on pause. I never want anyone to not live their life; but for me it just felt unfair that I was not able to go out and do fun things.
In the end just being able to have the ability to do what I want knowing I am cancer free. Even the simple things in life sem like the most wonderful adventure to me. When you battle something that could be life-threatening, you really appreciate the little things. Even sitting out in the sun and enjoying the day feels like such a blessing to me.
I used three different kits and template by Scrapbook Crazy Creations by Robin, the kits Because of You and Fall Family Fun and the template from the buffet called Spring is Nature's
