a photoshop CC question

Ever since I switched to Photoshop CC, I have not been able get my workspace
to the way it was before CC

I am trying to figure out how to dock the workspace to Adobe toolbar like I used to have it
I even reverted back to an older workspace I had saved, but the active "workspace" area
still continues to move. It drives me bonkers. I know that I used to have the workspace
stationary and for the life of me can't find the preference that controls that

does anyone know how to dock that main workspace window -- not just the open .psd file
or current layout I'm working on?
 
I gave up trying to get things how I had it in my old version
Just moved things around until they docked into a spot I liked & saved the new workspace
Sorry not much help I know
 
Do you still have your old version? It would help me if you posted a screen shot of your old space and your new space so I can see what you are trying to do. I am also new to CC, I just upgraded in October, but hopefully I can try to help :)
