{2024} Newsletter Hop!

@sweetpea2020 I know, I had the same problem. Copied the gmail link in Edge, and after a few seconds that turned into https://store. Still couldn't see the mini kit. But then I remembered the tip someone gave me a while back. I deleted the https:// part, pressed enter again and then I was able to download the mini.

I think the only thing that would help is if the designers offered an alternative way to download, whether through the store or at a different host site. I know I've downloaded many things from Aimee's blog before with no issue, so I don't know if she's changed to a new host or what. The other ones I've had trouble with so far are J. Conlon, Memory Mosaic, and Scraps 'n Pieces.


Also, I don't know if you saw my question regarding Chere Kaye - when I click on the link to sign up for her newsletter, it does lead to a page that looks complete, with graphics and text, EXCEPT that it says
"Welcome!I’m glad you decided to join me. Please feel free to subscribe to my newsletter using the form below."
but there is only white space below, no form to sign up on. Come to think of it, I should probably try contacting her directly about this. I'll do that now.
 
Sorry ladies, there is some confusion, I need to know if you are having trouble signing up for the actual newsletter or is the problem with the designers newsletter free itself?

Are having trouble with the freebies themselves? Or the sign up links given in this forum post?

Please let for me the designer name and what the issue is. For example

Chere Kaye : Can not access the page to sign up for her newsletter
Triple J : The link in her newsletter to get the freebie is not working.

Etc.
Then I can contact the designers and get this resolved. Thank you!

The Scrappy Kat : not receive the NL (the last I receive is February 07th) (I try to update my profil of the NL, but no news)

Thank you for the details on the issues you are having.

It sounds we need to reach out to them directly since these are not issues I can personally fix.
I will message them both to come pop in his thread and help you :)

Just checking in to see if others are missing the same ones that I have not received yet.

1) J Conlon, registered twice as I couldn't remember if I received her emails and have yet to receive the email gift.
2) Kristmess, registered in case I got dropped even though I have been receiving her emails for years. Did not get the email to confirm??? Expecting her current email soon as the problem was mentioned in the thread.
3) Sweet Pea, registered again and confirmed, Still no gift email from her even though I had previously received emails from her.
4) The Skarppy Kat, tried to register and was told that I was already registered, still no email gift.

I check my spam and trash folders a couple times a day and they have not gone into those folders.
 
UPDATE 2/13
Thanks to J. Conlon reaching out to me, I was able to download hers, Aimee's, and Memory Mosaic's through dropbox on my phone. For some reason Scraps N Pieces still won't work.
I also got a newsletter from Chere Kaye, so I must have been signed up with her after all.
Thanks again for working so hard to try and make sure everything goes smoothly, Ginger!
I'm so happy I was able to get almost all of the contributions!

My newsletter will be going out later in the week. If I sent it out on the 9th, then not everyone that is signing up this week would get it. My newsletter will go out on the 15th with the freebie.

Here is the message I get from Triple J Designs:

I sent messages to all the issues/designers mentioned in this thread.


Please keep in mind, if you sign up and have not received the freebie yet, that is not necessarily an issue. You will most likely get the freebie when they send their next newsletter.

Sorry in advance for the trouble, we always try our best to make these run smoothly, but things happen. Hopefully by the close of the hop you will have all the freebies you signed up for :)
 
Check your pop up blocker. I've had hundreds of downloads of this specific link so I think it is probably your pop up blocker that is blocking it. Make sure you allow the site on your popup blocker and it should work. I've tested the newsletter link and it is working properly.

Did anyone get Kristmess Designs' part?
I just received her newsletter and there is no mention of the Newsletter Hop freebie.
The last newsletter I got before that was Feb 6th.
 
To receive my freebie, you just have to click on the image of the freebie in the NL, and it should start an automatic download. It will ask you where you want to save it. BUT, the link for the gift, is imbedded in the image, so you have to click on it. I am sending out another NL in the morning (Tuesday) with my sales, and the NL Hop Freebie is also in that NL, Please message me if you don't can't get it to work tomorrow along with your email, so I can check.

No, I didn't get hers either and I've been receiving her emails for many years.

Still also need Sweet Pea and the Skrappy Kat.
Skrappy Kat, I also have been receiving in the past and nothing now.
 
I know I have to wait till March 10th to ask, but I wanted to know if ScrapsNPieces, Sweet Pea Designs, and The Scrappy Kat have sent their part of the blog hop?
I am subscribed to their NLs but haven't received them yet.

For ScrapsNPieces > Newletter of Feb. 10th
For Sweet Pea Designs > Feb. 09th
For scrappy Kat > The last NL received 07th february and no GS Hop!!!!!

Hi Nadine,

I sent an email to you a few days ago, and again today. Please let me know if you didn't get them.
 
The newsletter link works ok for me. If you want to PM me your email I can try and add you manually. Some email providers block signup and treat it as spam.

If you registered again then you will get the newsletter later this week with a link to the kit. Sometimes email providers block the newsletter and see it as spam. If you still don't get one by the end of this week pm me and I will see what I can do.
